    pagelucy - if that does not work can you try deleting the Affinity Designer settings folder. %APPDATA%\Serif\Affinity Designer\1.0 (Beta)\Settings You may need to be able to see hidden folders, select View, Hidden Items from the explorer application menu

    ake Hi, Sorry to hear this. Can you confirm that you are using the 1.5.0.5 download? Can you also let us know :- 1.Where you installd the progrm to. 2. Your user account name 3. OS version 4 Make model of PC 5 Make and Model of Graphics card. Finally try holding down the ctrl key as you launch the program and reset all settings. Let us know if the program gets that far too.

    I can see the program is running but it's very small. Reboot the PC and before you run the designer application hold down the Ctrl key as you launch it. This will bring up a dialog to reset some settings. Hopefully that should allow the program to come back to it's normal state.

    resocut - Exporting to folders with non-ascii charcaters has been an issue which maybe what you are seeing.

    Clip to Canvas :- I think the setting is saved but is not being applied correctly. my XML <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <Settings xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:type="ApplicationSettings"> <ClipToCanvas>false</ClipToCanvas> <ShowRulers>true</ShowRulers> </Settings> When opening the document it behaves as if it is clipping to the canvas, but the menu is setup to not clip from canvas

    You can give them a name and a tooltip will appear if you hover over the asset. There's also a display as list option for the tab which will show the name and a larger preview.

    I've had this fail once and seen it once before with another document. When it failed document loaded but the font was horrendous.

    If you could send us a sample file exhibiting the problem we can investigate.

    Hold the control key down as you run up. You should then be able to reset the 'Dont restore Windows and documents' option

    It's failing to install KB2999226 which appears to be a common issue which is not easy to resolve. This article gives some info. First step may be downloading KB2999226 independently and attempting to install that. If it is already installed I would uninstall and reinstall also. Also reboot yor PC a couple of times before and after doing any installations to make sure any pending installations are cleared.

    Cutting and pasting the design to a new document also seems to resolve the issue for me.

    Setting the Rasterise option in the "more..." options dialog to "Nothing" generates a purely vector output. I can see that large sections are getting rasterised with other settings but can't work out why at the moment

    Which settings did you use for export? A screenshot of the export dialog and the one after selecting the more... button please
