I agree. That's a must have for professionals. -

This is a serious deficiency, which should be fixed as soon as possible. It makes Affinity Publisher an unprofessional tool, and that is a shame. I hope Serif realizes how limiting the lack of this function is for professionals. -
Same for me. I hope that it will be fixed soon. Live global color update was one of my favourite feature.

Strange behavior of color palette in "Text frame" panel

Thank you @loukash -
@lacerto Beyond the bad artifact you may see in print, a serious problem is that preflight software may reject PDF file because of the RGB space used for transparency blending. I love Affinity products, but if they want to be truly competitive even on the professional printing side, they need to fix these issues as soon as possible. If these issues are not resolved, people will find themselves forced to continue using competing software because they provide more reliability in PDF generation. And that's a shame, because Affinity would be truly outstanding.

Similar issue for me. Latest version of Publisher and Big Sur. Very disappointing. Affinity crashes while opening the file. PLEASE MANAGE THIS. It's a major issue

Hi guys. For test purposes, I set up a extremely simple CMYK Publisher document (Fogra 39 profile). I simply drew a vector object (a "donut") and rasterized it within the document. I then exported the pdf with the option "ready to print". Adobe Acrobat DC's output preview correctly detects transparency, and shows a "Transparency blending color space: sRGB IEC61966-2.1" despite of the CMYK color space. Is this normal? Thank you in advance for your time. Attached are the files I used for the test. files.zip

Hallo Walt! I think that the collection folder is "special" because it's related to the AP file with a relative path, and this makes possible to move folder and AP file together (or zip them together for sending etc.) avoiding to break links.

In resource manager I can't easily distinguish between linked, integrated and collected resources. I think that it can be really useful to highlight what resources are neither integrated nor collected, in order to avoid accidental deletion of linked files.
