cretinaverti got a reaction from PaoloT in Collapse All Grouped Layers on Alt Click
    Hi,
It should be nice to be able to collapse:
an artboard ; a group; a clipped layer, with their children, with a Alt + Click on the most parent layer.

I know it is possible with a right click + a menu item (not sure about the English label). But it could be nice to have that through a shortcut  .

Hi. I open this topic here because a few days ago I commented about a bug in the forum of the beta version of Affinity Designer, but I should open it here.
The color picker tool has precision problems when selecting colors (especially in CMYK documents; in RGB documents it has them but they are less frequent).
When you select a color and apply it, the HSL values change.
I attach a video so you can see what I'm talking about. In the video I do two tests: the first with a CMYK document (press ready) and the second with an RGB document (print). In each of the tests I take two samples and apply them. In CMYK, it fails both times. In RGB only the second one fails. See the HSL values in Color Panel.
Please, check this bug as it is present in all applications: Designer, Photo and Publisher. The color picker tool is a basic tool that should have precision when taking samples. It should pick the exact color, not just a similar one.
    Thanks!

Ok I just figured out: Text layer could just have a single fill / stroke so you must convert Text layer into a curves

Agree. Same with asset subcategories. It would be nice to have a way to collapse all subcategories and not have them automatically expand when re-ordering them

cretinaverti reacted to dangerman2000 in Connectors, Magnetic lines, Bones, Flow Diagram Tools - Feature Request
    Hello -
This has been mentioned on a number of posts. I would like to formally and informally request the great AD developers to consider connectors, magnetic lines, whatever you want to call it.

As you know, the purpose of these lines is to support making flow diagrams and make moving objects with lines easier. Similar to visio, omni-graffle, and creately.com/   This would be a giant quiver in the AD toolbox for UX designers.

If it could be made flexible enough to apply to other objects besides lines, it could conceivably support the idea of "bones" ... which could be great for animations etc. This may be a different feature though.

If you support this idea, please consider liking it.

    Thanks!
