I don't know if this will help or not, but I downloaded the trial version of Watercolor Studio, ran the app, and then quit. Without doing anything else, I then had access to the plugin in Affinity Photo. I just wonder if it's possible that you have to quit the JixPix app - which you seem to have running - and also quit Affinity Photo, and then restart Affinity Photo, before you get access to the plugin. (I know, it's "Turn it off, turn it on again", but it may be worth a try if you haven't done it already.)
As far as I can see your settings in Preferences are correct, but for what it's worth, on my machine the plugin is installed in Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe:Plug-Ins/CC/JixiPix_Plugins/
The single "/" character in Affinity Photo's Plugin Support should find that.

You've added the Gaussian Tool, the Affine Tool, and some horizontal separators, none of which is displayed by default. And you've adjusted the positions of quite a few of the default tools. So you must know what you're doing...

I've never imported or paid for any other assets @LogoLogics - I think I would tend to use the Assets panel as a 'library' for my own designs. I suppose the downside of any paid-for assets like those you've linked is that they could look derivative rather than individual.

I think those iOS 12 assets were a sort of giveaway with Designer many months ago. They have never been updated and don't appear in any other apps.

In Preferences - User Interface, if you set Background Grey Level to about here:

The bleed line disappears almost completely. It's a pretty compelling argument for being able to set its colour as a preference, as is already possible with grid, guides and margins.

To run the .php script in MacOS:
Download the .zip file from @Lagarto's post above. To your Downloads folder. It should unzip automatically, giving you a file called createasepalette.php.
Launch Terminal.
Type cd Downloads and press Return.
Type php createasepalette.php and press Return.
The .ase file (test.ase) will be written to your Downloads folder.
Quit Terminal.
In Affinity Photo (or any Affinity app), click the Hamburger icon in the Swatches Palette and chose one of the options from Import (Document, Application or System). Navigate to your Downloads folder and choose test.ase.
Result:

Hi,
You can download ExifTool (Mac or PC) here. It's a command-line utility which doesn't have its own interface and isn't installed in the normal Applications folder.
The MacOS version runs from within Terminal and there is a steep learning curve, so if you're not familiar with using the command line then you could upload a RAW file to this forum and others may be able to help to read the EXIF information.
An example of ExifTool returning lens data:

Is there a tool similiar to Magic Tool in Photoshop.
The Flood Selection Tool is probably closest.

Which version of which app, and which OS?
If you're using the current Beta version of Photo on MacOS,
I think there may be a bug as I get the same issue. But not with the release version, or with the Live Filter (from Layer - New Live Filter Layer - Lighting. If not, I'm in the dark. (See what I did there?)

H
EDIT There's definitely something buggy going on but it's more complex than just 'not working'. Seems to affect .afphoto files with grouped layers. Sometimes it doesn't work, sometimes it flattens my grouped layers. You need to be more specific about version/OS etc for anyone to help more with this.

Also Vectornator (MacOS only I believe) and VectorStyler (definitely MacOS only).

I initially thought of Symbols in Designer, but I can't see any way of keeping even spacing between different name lengths, or preventing issues with overflow with long names.
So here's my take based on @Old Bruce's ingenious solution in Publisher. It requires a pretty complex layout, but I think it works. Sorry it's not in Designer...
You have to account for very short names (eg 'Jo') and very long names ('Montmorency de Coverley' may be over the top, but you never know...)
In Publisher, I have a row of single-line text frames containing the repeated Author field with repeating global colours. The left-hand sides of the frames are offset (off the document margin) to give the diagonal striping. They're aligned at the right. The text itself is aligned left in the frames. All the frames are set to Hide Overflow in the Text Frame panel.
To get a full spread of names, I set the Author's name to 'Jo' and fill out to the right-hand end of each frame:
Once you've set this up, which takes quite a while, then you just have to change the Author field once (™ Old Bruce). It may look odd having the lower frames stuck out so far to the left, but it's actually necessary when you get a really long name:
(This is where hiding the overflow comes in handy.)
As pointed out, changing colours can be achieved using Global Colours in a Document Palette in the Swatches panel.
And if you switch to Preview Mode you get a clearer view of the final result:

... still not perfect but I did a Merge Visible on the Background and HSL Adjustment layers, inverted the selection to the bottle and ran a Selective Colour adjustment on the merged layer, reducing the Cyan and Magenta in the Cyans.
.afphoto document attached, although I've trimmed and resized it slightly to keep down the upload/storage size.
Chin-chin!

One slightly 'blunt instrument' approach to changing the background colour in the original 'bottle' picture is to select the background using the Selection Brush tool, create an HSL Shift Adjustment layer, nest it into the image layer to create a mask and then play with the HSL settings until you achieve the result you need.
I say 'blunt instrument' because it doesn't remove the reflections of the original background colour from the bottle.
Without seeing your original image it's hard to comment on the best way of removing the crease line from the backdrop, but I can't see anything too obvious, so you must have done a pretty thorough job 👏

Not sure if this will give the desired result, as I don't have a cutting machine or software to test it on, but you could try:
- Convert to Curves
- Ungroup
- Expand Stroke
- Create Compound
Hope it helps,
H

Assuming this is in Designer, I think Layer-Expand Stroke should do what you want. This basically creates an outlined shape from the selected curve. You should be aware that it's a destructive operation - the source curve is not automatically retained - so you may want to duplicate your original Curve layers before applying it.

We can also see that between each page, the type of space used is incorrect.
The more I think about this, the more I reckon that the space characters <ENSP><ZWSP> before all but the first page number, and the commas after all but the final page number, are inserted programatically during the creation of the index, and cannot be changed at user level. (If anyone knows better, then let us know!)
However, it is possible to Find and Replace after creating the index, by copying the space characters, pasting into the F&R dialog and replacing with any character sequence that you prefer.

You can see on page 5 that the character index creates 2 spaces between the name and the page list. How can I change this and put the sequence "pp." instead, for example?
Index panel - Options - Separator:

(It appears that an ordinary space character, as typed by the spacebar, at the beginning of the Separator is ignored - you may need to insert an En Space or Em Space from the pulldown. Subsequent spaces, eg between ":" and "pp" in the screen shot, seem ok.)

Not sure. If it's anywhere, I suspect it's in Text Styles - I shall keep looking. What is "correct" if you don't want to use an En Space?

is there a way to see the final result of my mask?
One way, which is admittedly a bit of a kludge, is to Cmd+click (MacOS, probably ctrl-click on Windows) on the mask thumbnail. This will create a selection based on the white area of the mask. If you then create a new Fill Layer, you'll see the masked area as a coloured overlay above the image, more or less opaque depending on the whiteness/blackness of the mask.

Why does existing text box text disappear when I paste in more text or link another text box

EDITED
You're going to need to remove the linked text on pages 10-11 before you can flow on from page 9.
Steps:
Select text on pages 10-11.
Cmd-x (Mac) to cut it.
Link the text frame on page 9 to the text frame on page 10. This will flow the text from page 9 to page 10.
Click at the end of the text on page 10.
Paste the cut text back in, after the flowed text from page 9.
(Gratuitous bit of proofreading: it's "Breathe in", not "breath in".)
