i experience the same problem. 13" MBP early 2015 with Eizo CS240 1920*1200. Workaround works Same problem with 1.8.

Tested Sigma's X3F files. Unfortunately status quo. The Foveon is such an extraordinary (low ISO) sensor and if you figure out "howto" it would be so great for many reasons. Keeping my fingers crossed!

The developed Sigma RAW files (.X3F) are still jagged and ugly :( I and I'm absolutely sure a lot of Sigma users out there would be extremely happy to be able to develop Sigma RAW in Affinity Photo! It took three or four clicks on the "Don't restore"-button before it went away (Mac).

Kudos for the 1.5 RC1 release and all the enhancements and new tools taking image editing to a new level. It spells more field work taking all those pictures and making the final magic with this wonderful tool! I have one BIG complaint though! The RAW converter for Sigma dp Quattro series is flawed. I'm sorry to say this but it is unusable! I developed a RAW file, didn't make but a few changes, exported it as tiff, imported it to Lightroom. There it looks exactly as unusable there as in this Beta release! It is a shame since probably every Sigma camera owner out there is looking for something else than Sigmas own sorry piece of RAW developing software. If you need RAW files from Sigma dp 1 and dp 3 to test Affinity I'd be happy to make them downloadable. Just send an email and I'll reply ASAP. Cheers
