  1. To retain your sanity  :)...

You don't have to expand the stroke. The FX can be applied directly to the curve.... that way they remain much more edit friendly (in terms of shape) .

Also... for the edges on top of edges add a Outer Shadow FX (with offset) for a cast shadow on what's below. AND if the background is white, set the blending to Darker Color and the white will be unaffected.

JimmyJack, Thanks, this works great but can you please clarify for me the blending to darker and white will be unaffected..

I'm at a loss of what to reach for here.

  2. Hi manwiller, I'm new to AP but this was the first thing I explored. From what I can see in AP Preferences/Color Profiles you can select your ICC of choice and then in your macs printing dialogue select it there also. It will tell you that your software is controlling color. I hope this helps in some way. (I've been using RGB but the CMYK selection is there in AP also)

  3. Can someone please confirm this for me… I'm a total newb here and new to AP so please forgive my lack of know how. I could have sworn the second time I opened AP that it opened the last project I was working on. I believe I deselected this function and now cannot locate turning it back on. Is my memory correct or is it slipping?… If the selection is here can someone point me to it. Thanks.
