@Ash, great to see the addition of 0.1 increments for the dash and gap intervals, I wonder though if we could include a modifier key whether Shift, Cmd or Alt to allow 1.0 increments as well, so no modifier = 0.1, with modifier = 1.0 or even vice versa for consistency with the Character Panel, so drag without modifier = 1.0, Alt drag = 0.1.
The other thing I've been meaning to ask and am sure there's a logical explanation for is, why when the stroke is aligned either inside or outside does the radius/diameter of the stroke double, i.e., if you have a centred 4pt stroke, the stroke width is correctly shown as 4pt, if you align the stroke either inside or outside the stroke width is now 8pt, I can't see any logic to this, surely the stroke width should remain at the value set in the stroke panel regardless of its alignment?

Yeah, fortunately out of habit I tend to keep all my resource files organized together in one folder (with subfolders of course), so it wasn't difficult to bundle all the images and stuff together for my publisher myself. However, i did have to go thru file by file and manually check which fonts I used so I could include those files as well.
Ultimately though a robust packaging feature would be a nice failsafe to make sure no resources got misplaced somewhere along the way; a final verification if you will.

Hi @walt.farrell, that bit I'm aware off as I mentioned it in an earlier post in this thread but @thomaso's post read to me as though he was alluding to a different issue as he said "This problem appears to be related to similar issue with linked Affinity documents, reported some months ago" but I could be completely wrong...

This is currently working as designed.
However, i will get an improvement logged with the Developers, as it would make sense to include 'everything' in the package

Hi @Donspark and welcome to the forums...
The vast majority of your map uses vector graphics, the exceptions being the grey fill areas, e.g.,
Gold Course Rd (X6) Balfour Road (AC10 - AF14) Boundary Oak Golf Course (G11 - H12) and so on... I'm unsure why these don't use vector fills as well but my personally I would create them as vector fills (pretty straightforward). In addition...
The Map Key (bottom left) The Map Cover (top right) The Mount Diablo graphic (top left) The Viist Concord Sponsor graphic (top left) Again, personally I would take the time to create these (with the exception of the photo on the map cover graphic of course) using vector graphics, ask Mount Diablo and the sponsor for a vector versions of their resepctive logos if they're not readily available.
This would then give you a 100% vector graphic which you can scale to your hearts content without any loss in quality and effectively crop as required simply by changing the scale of the map on your 11" x 8.5" 400 dpi page...
Affinity software doesn't have the same concept of setting the view or display to (High resolution) so in terms of your placed map pdf, if the non-vector elements (mentioned above) are not relevant and are sections you don't intend to print, what you need to do is to change the Passthrough mode in the context toolbar from Passthough to Interpret, that way, you will see the full resolution of your file and I think that alone will likely give you what you are looking for but if not let us know...
Regardless, despite seeing a bitmap interpretation in Passthrough mode, your file should still print as you are expecting it to...

Hey @mlcanales thanks for sending over the files,
I've PM'd you Dropbox link which contains two versions of your file, one which I've gone scorched earth on and deleted every single embedded image contained within the file, and another version of the file which has had all the images changed over to be linked resources along with the Image folder to re-link it to.
Could you first check if you're able to open the file which contains no images? This is just to help me ascertain if they are the cause of the problem.
If that works, could you try and open the file with the images all linked? If it opens successfully, download the 'Images' folder and then re-link it back to that folder, and then save and close the file and see if can be opened again.

@Hangman I've currently got another MacOS user with this exact same problem and pending a response from them, if they work on a file and they embed an image and save it can potentially permanently lock them out of opening that file in the future with an endless loading loop which sounds like a similar scenario here, If I find anything solid as to what's causing this I'll report back.

Personally I'd much prefer a different keyboard combination or the option to at least change the keyboard combination. I work on a MacBook Pro which only has one Ctrl Key on the left side of the keyboard and I'm left handed so Ctrl Alt Anything is awkward. Cmd Drag and Shift Cmd Drag would make this far easier and accommodate all the left handed people using non-extended keyboards.

Thanks, that did it. I had to go to View and then Customize Tools. I had been trying to right click on the Tools to try and customize it like you can on the Tool Bar. And of course I checked in the settings as well. I would suggest the team enable right click to customize on the tools as well. I find that more intuitive personally.

    Thanks again!

Thanks for this feedback - though getting a bit off topic from balanced dashed lines
It won't be in this update but a double line style is something we'll get on the list for future consideration. What we could also do with a a much better way to save any line styles you create yourself (with various dash patterns, arrow heads, multiple strokes in appearance, etc,) as well as us being able to provide a nice set of presets. These could potentially just be saved in other categories of the brushes panel within Designer persona. Again one for a future update...
