  1. Hi @Sean P, This only happens when first launching the Affinity apps, for me in both 2.4.2 and the 2.5.0 Beta, seemingly in 2.4.2 when the panels are docked. In the 2.5.0 Beta, note things like the incorrect tab order in the Position and Transform panel and the fact that when using the tab key in the Paragraph panel instead of restricting and cycling fields within each section, the tab key cycles through the entire Paragraph panel for each section that is enabled. This means if you have other sections closed you will hit the tab key numerous times and it looks as though nothing is happening because it's tabbing through all fields in the next section and so on. There is still the bug where using the tab key in certain fields across the app fails to move to the next field, instead, it moves the caret so it appears after the first character in the same text field but I believe that is logged already as being specific to Monterey but it is a real pain from a workflow point of view. 2. Currently for content only via the single line in the context toolbar... you can of course edit colour and size etc., as per any other shape.
  3. Thanks @Sean P, Did the other issues mentioned get logged as well, i.e., not being able to select text entry fields in the Character and Paragraph panels when initially launching all three apps along with the other odd behaviour?
  4. You can see the effect error correction has when including a logo of differing sizes which highlights the benefit of being able to set the Error Correction level manually when creating QR codes, something which is supported in the QR Code generator library... As has been suggested above, adding UI for all the different QR Options would make the creation of QR codes much more user-friendly... You'll need to test by clicking on each image to view it full screen. Note: I've only tested these using the iPhone camera's built-in QR scanner. Error Correction Medium | Quartile | High All three QR Codes scan without issue... Error Correction Medium | Quartile | High The QR Code to the left set with Error Correction set to Medium fails to scan but with Error Correction set to both Quartile and High, the QR Codes scan... Error Correction Medium | Quartile | High The QR Codes to the left and centre set with Error Correction set to Medium and Quartile fail to scan but with Error Correction set to both High, the QR Code scans...
  5. Hi @Intuos5, This looks as though it may be a Windows issue as they are truncated on Mac...
  6. It does appear to be a Flow Options issue when there are hidden overflow special characters... The behaviour is the same in v1... Overflow.mp4
  7. Hi @Andy7771 and another warm welcome to the forums, See how you get on with the attached files... You will likely need to adjust them to suit the requirements of Autodesk Fusion but hopefully, they provide you with a good starting point... Starfish.afdesign Starfish.svg
  8. Hi @anto, Apologies, I edited my first reply because I realised the issue seems to be the 'Hidden Overflow' checkbox in the Text Frame panel... You can click the 'hide overflow special character' blue eye symbol to the right of the text frame which will uncheck the 'Hidden Overflow' checkbox in the Text Frame panel. Why it's preventing all the text from being highlighted I'm not sure at the moment but assume this is a bug...
  9. If you uncheck 'Hide Overflow' in the Text Frame panel does that fix the issue...
  10. If you click the hidden overflowing special character blue eye symbol to the right of the frame so the end of story marker is visible before expanding the height of the text frame you will also be able to select all of the text...
  11. Hi @anto, If you uncheck 'Hide Overflow' in the Text Frame panel does that fix the issue... Select Text.mp4
  12. That does feel like a bit of an oversight as you have to do everything via the 'Manage Preset' panel... Though they no longer perform as QR Codes of course... which tool/s did you use to manipulate the QR Codes out of interest?
  13. Hi @Sean P, Sorry, I meant to include the New Document window in the post... I realised I'd posted in the wrong thread since it's not specific to: Text Style Panel/Editor Paragraph Panel Character Panel Section Manager (macOS only) so it looks like someone correctly split it out into its own thread...
  14. Just to add to my post before last... When first launching Publisher, as mentioned above, it is not possible to select any of the text entry fields by clicking on their icon/label... this is also the case in v2.4.2, however, if I click in the Character panel 'Kerning' or 'Leading Override' text entry fields and hit the tab key, instead of tabbing between fields it adjusts both the Left and First Line indent values in the Paragraph panel instead... 15. Hi @Sean P, I don't know why I didn't check before but yes, it appears to be specifically related to Hardware Acceleration in Photo only... Note: with Hardware Acceleration enabled in Publisher and Designer I don't have the issue... Having just tested I'm seeing the same issue in v2.4.2 when HA is enabled... Mine uses an AMD Radeon R9 M370X display adapter on the PCIe Bus with a built-in Intel Iris Pro... Something odd/interesting I've only just spotted which may be completely irrelevant and by design is that in Photo, unchecking HA enables the Display Dropdown where I can choose between 'Software' 'Open GL (Basic)', 'OpenGL' and 'Metal'. Regardless of which Display option is selected, enabling HA greys the Display option out and selects Metal as the Display option, whether it is actually using Metal at that point I have no idea... If I do the same in Designer and Publisher, enabling HA leaves the Display Dropdown enabled and I can select and switch between any of the available options. Is this expected? 16. Hi @Peter Hauffe and welcome to the forums, Are you on Mac or Windows? What resolution (dpi) are both your Publisher and Designer documents? Is there any reason why you're using 'New from Clipboard' rather than simply pasting the copied item using Edit > Paste?
  17. Hi @Sean P, For me, it's happening with any and every image regardless of file format... Split Toning.mp4 It's slightly more strange... when initially attempting to adjust the Split Toning Highlights or Shadows sliders, I can't move either beyond 0%, i.e., the sliders simply won't slide and I get the Affinity Photo 2 Beta (not responding message)... But I've now noticed that if I leave it a few seconds it will recover and then the sliders are working... This (for me) is unique to the Photo 2.5 Beta and happens with all images but only in Photo's Photo Persona... Happy to send a sample image if still relevant, just let me know... Split Toning 2.mp4
  18. It will be because you're pasting to a document set to mm. If both your source and destination documents were set to px then the pasted graphic would have a stroke weight of 1.8 pt... Glad you have it sorted though...
  19. Hi @anto, You are copying from a 60 px x 60 px, 72 dpi document set to px and pasting to a 300 dpi document set to mm. ((300 - 72) / 72) x 100 = 316.67% 60 px + 316.67% = 250 px 60 px x 60 px @ 72dpi = 250 px x 250 px @ 300 dpi or 21.17 mm x 21.17 mm You also have 'Scale with Object' checked in your source document. 7.5 pt + 316.67% = 31.25 pt svg.mp4
  20. It's not about opening the files, it's about copying and pasting the file between two documents using different dpi settings. The behaviour you see is expected and correct...
  21. Hi @anto, This is expected behaviour... All SVG files are opened (incorrectly) at 72 dpi in Affinity and Adobe apps (they should honour the W3C spec and open at 96 dpi). You are copying and pasting a file between two different document dpi settings, i.e., copying from a 72 dpi document to a 300 dpi document so: ((300 - 72) / 72) x 100 = 316.67% 7.5 pt + 316.67% = 31.25 pt You will find the same if you copy and paste the SVG to a 300 dpi Designer file. Likewise, opening the SVG in Publisher will equally open it at 72 dpi and honour the stroke weight...
