I am trying Designer in hopes of replacing Illustrator however I have encountered a situation that seems to eliminate the use of Designer for my needs. Nearly all my work is done in AutoCAD then I would import into illustrator to create presentation quality work. Since Designer does not accept either DWG or DXF files I imported one of my files into Designer via PDF. However, my layers and objects were just obliterated. Does anyone have any insights as to whether I can use Designer in a way I hope or if this is not a possibility. Thank you.
