I'd like to be able to change the size and color of the transparency pattern. I personally prefer smaller boxes that are dark grey and slightly darker grey.

How about a 1 to 1 license trade. Let DrawPlus X8 owners forfeit their license for a Affinity Designer License. I personally never bothered to learn DrawPlus after buying it. Affinity designer for Windows was announced shortly afterwards and I didn't want to devote time to learning deprecated software. I don't want to sound like I am just complaining, I have been excited about the work I have seen your team doing, I just also like to give healthy feedback. :)

Will we be able to use a single license on multiple computers? I'd like to have it installed on both my desktop and laptop like I do with the Beta and Illustrator.

Oh ok, thanks. I don't want to turn the feature off, I didn't know it was text. I definitely want to delete it. I realize I'll need to quickly adopt a layer managing technique; I can see how things could be hard to find in the layer stack. If I were to want to select it by not using the layers window, I wouldn't know how to do that. I don't see a way to hide selected object so that I can see the ones behind. I also don't see a way to lock obects; I only see lock layer, which doesn't help. Those aren't really questions, just pondering on the UI.

I found this thread looking for an answer to this question. I cannot make an empty style; there has to be at least a stroke or fill. So, I've make a new style that has a fill, and just change the fill back after applying the "Empty" style. Not a great solution.

What is this line on my canvas and how do I get rid of it?

I'd like a way to more quickly change the font of selected text. I'd like to be able to do this: Press Hotkey > Type name of font > Hit Return to confirm. I actually see no place in the UI where I can input the name of a font, I only see a dropdown menu. Being able to hit a hotkey that takes me to an input field would go a very long way in speeding up my workflow.

Is there a way to unlock all? Diving through the layers to unlock objects one by one is very time comsuming and practically imposible to get everything depending on complexity of artwork.

Thanks. I prefer transparent over changing the color. I would like to be able to modify the square colors and size, although I would put that a bit down on my list of wanted features.

Is there a way to change the background color of the document or make it transparent?

It would be great to retain layer information when exporting to pdf, eps, etc.
