Thanks, this method gave me a close result to what I wanted, but still not flexible enough. I tried this method but still wasn't what I originally wanted, would you please ( if it's not much of a bother ) share the shadow values you used? Why didn't Affinity just use the common method of applying shadows with x,y and blur?

Hello, I'm a bit confused about applying shadows. I wanted to apply a double shadow to a single object to achieve the effect as in the image attached (Using Sketch). It doesn't seem that it's possible to add two shadows to a single object so I duplicated the object, changed the shadow color and "angle" but still I did not get the desired result. How can achieve that?

As you can see in the bottom right corner the shape is 40x60. The whole document is also 40x60. But, when I try to export it sets it at 478x715. Are the dimensions of the shape in the "Transform" panel in points or something? How can I export the image in 40x60 dimensions?

Thanks for the reply. I don't understand this part: I can see the 9 points in the Transform panel, when I try to select different points it doesn't change anything. What is a W label?

Is there a way to move two parallel anchor points simultaneously whether inwards or outwards?

I have a Rectangle shape and I would like to add extra anchor points exactly at the centre of each edge. when I hover over the edge the smart guide doesn't show. How would I go about doing this?

I copied all the settings of this window into mine, it did nothing. The icon went into Sketch with the large dimensions of 203x286. Also, the image appears in Sketch as a group with jut the shape inside it.

Thanks for replying. I tried setting it to 96 but in Sketch the dimensions became 66x93. I tried lowering it to 72 and still, it's not 24x24 as intended.

I'm drawing an icon in Designer. The document is set to 24x24. The icon itself is 17x24. When I try to export as a .svg file I leave it at "Whole Document" but when I open it in Sketch it becomes very large at 203x286. What am I doing wrong here? PS: I'm new to Affinity Designer and Designing in general.

I'm going to give the trial version a go and hope for the best, but I would strongly recommend adding such feature especially if other people have been requesting it as you said, this makes a designer's workflow much easier and quicker, and will definitely help this software get the upper hand against some of the competition.

Hello, I'm really interested in Affinity Designer, but the one thing holding me back is that I'm not sure if it has something similar to Adobe Illustrator's "Shape Builder Tool" the one that lets you manually combine shapes together or delete parts of them, I hope there is one.
