[Trouble Opening Photos]

I'm having trouble intermittently opening photos in Affinity from my desktop. The program freezes with message loading documents. The only way I can resume is by rebooting my computer. This has only happened recently and doesn't appear to be related to document sizes as the program functioned correctly with bigger file sizes previously. Can anyone explain what is happening and how I can resolve this.

[Opening a RAW File]

Just started trialling Infinity and can't open RAW files from Photo I can only obtain jpg but RAW file is shown in Photo. Can anyone please help?
