    Thanks! Hopefully the final version will be delivered soon and I will then have all the great advances available again. In the meantime, the normal AF works as well as ever.

    I have had an Apple version of AF from very early on and have enjoyed toying with the Beta since its earliest release. Now I cannot open the Beta as it asks for a normal download Apple version of AF (which I have installed) or a key which I do not because I downloaded from Apple. An Beta ld be appreciated .Help please.

    I have found saving the photo and letting it do its thing returned me to AF.

    When I pick up an asset (phone symbol) on the master page - symbol plus phone number for bottom of page. It works well on master page but on subsequent pages you get the master page and a sploge of the set icon that cannot be removed. maybe it is me but it might be a bug. Hope this helps as Publisher is another great Affinity program!

    I too have downloaded the later Beta and no Filter Forge. Am I missing something?

    Having trouble loading files (including "recent") after successfully using beta a few times - not actually loading and a re-boot required.. Ay ideas here? Thanks Derek

    Dear MEB The dialogue box appears when I am trying to record a macro. It selects a layer but will not duplicate it etc.. Sometimes there is a note appearing saying macro cannot record action but I though duplication was a pretty basic operation. I do not know if this screen shot will help? Probably it is all down to me not getting things right. Again thanks for all you do

    Dear MEB Many thanks for the reply. In regard to the recording of a macro that is probably the answer. Thanks In regard to the clicking on a layer to say duplicate it that seems to be ok now that I have reloaded program. However, when it did produce the dialogue it was a small box with various options to select a layer - above below etc.. Perhaps I turned on something I did not need. Anyway thanks again for your help and the great work you are all doing.

    As always, it is probably me but help with these two queries would be really appreciated. Firstly, on the Beta, Macros will not record although the included library items do run. Secondly. a simple click and selection of a layer brings up a small dialogue. Can I turn it off and revert to the simple click and select that I am so used to? Apologies if these questions are trivial and have been answered before but I really want to get into the Beta and are a little frustrated as Affinity Photo (1.4) is presently a wonderful program that I use all the time. Thanks
