That search is missing when you go to add a global color from a palette. Would be quite useful.

I admit I'm a bit lost in what your response entails, exactly, so I'll try to show you what I mean. As I see it, there are two ways to commit a transform: you can have the object become square to the document so that every time you click the button you get a nice, clean rectangle, no matter where you are (the behavior we see temporarily in "Reset Selection Box"), or you can have the object become square to the parent object.

The example below shows how, if you use the former option, the parent object's box becomes distorted from it's bounds when you apply it to the keyboard. However, the latter option is useful for correcting exactly that issue. And of course, if the object in question is at the top level with no parents, or if all parents have no transform, the two are indistinguishable.

... yes, I'm using designer for drafting.

    Hey Matt,
Thanks for the improvement to the Expand Stroke. This is just a simple test but so far I am liking what I see...

That is just a simple line drawn with the pen tool and a pressure curve applied. If I had to guess it would seem like the Expand Stroke command in 1.5.5 created almost 200 points whereas in 1.6 Beta 6 it may have created 20 points? It would be nice to have an Info panel of how many points an object has when you select it, manually counting it isn't fun!

    Hi JackofDiamonds,
The issue here seems to be the transmission speed provided by bluetooth, not the Hand Off functionality itself.
Please check this post from MattP for details.

Then by what logic do you think posting this thread would suddenly cause Serif to "wake up and go all out"?

Harpy, I could build a very long list of features which Adobe was years, if not decades, behind its competitors in delivering. Illustrator, for example, is over 30 years old and still doesn't provide dimension tools, connector lines, user-defined ruler scales...

You're expecting Serif to have matched, feature-by-feature, in 4 years what Photoshop took 29 years (after having initially been acquired by Adobe from the Knoll brothers) to become?

How long will it take? When will it happen? Nobody knows. Not even Serif. Your blustering won't make it happen.

Unless you're privy to a full accounting of its resources, you have no idea whether Serif is already "going all out" or not.

What I do know is that the Affinity applications can already serve for a lot of what I do, and I've never considered graphics software an either-or proposition anyway. There's nothing saying I'm required to use just one particular raster, vector, or page assembly program, and I don't. It's how I've always avoided mission-critical dependency on a single vendor.

But that's just me. If you can't make productive use of any raster program until it matches Photoshop tit-for-tat, well, don't. Good things take time.

    Hi JackofDiamonds,

Affinity Designer doesn't have any batch save functions I'm afraid you will have to do it manually one at a time.

Ah-ha.... so now you see where I'm going with this... :)  (I needed this function before I started to implement a couple of other things, so I wired it in to the delete node command - and it was so useful, I thought I'd leave it there rather than take it back out again!)

For the sake of covering everything, you can also force rotation in 15 degree increments by holding shift as you drag the rotation handle. If you cover all of the sub-15 increments and use this rotation with duplication, it will be spot on.
