  1. I love using the AP software and am becoming more comfortable, though there is yet a lot to learn. Loading my Leica Monochrom (Typ 246) DNG files , will often (not always) bring up a strange issue- The screen gets split into 2 horizontally, and the bottom half is completely black. The upper half is split vertically in half with the full uploaded image is seen as a duplicate - one in each half. Don't know if this is some inadvertent setup error on my part or a software issue. Strangely, it does not always happen, and I'm not sure of what -if anything - I'm doing differently. AFAIK, this has not occured with the Leica M240 files. Hope some can help figure this problem. Thanks in advance...
  2. I'm sure that is a consideration. I use Cleanmymac 3 (current version), but do have a somewhat cluttered desktop. I intend to clean up some of that - just wondered if there were any setup options in AP (memory usage etc.) that I was unaware of...
  3. I just bought Affinity Photo from the Apple Store, and love the program, even thought there is a steep learning curve. Everyone else seems to find it quick, but mine seems very slow to load pictures. On average it takes 5 or more seconds for the Raw photos, and easily more than a minute for a "stack" of 6 or 8 images. Am I doing something wrong, or is there a way to improve speed by setting up differently ? I have a 27" iMac, from 2010, with 2 drives, (one a Steady state), and 12 GB of RAM, running El Capitan 10.11.2 I would have thought this would be resource enough for the program. Could someone help, please ?
