Sadly this use of the Tab key in all sorts of number fields is broken throughout the Affinity Suite. I and many others have pointed this out here in the forums but for some unknown reason it is not something the developers care to fix.

On a Mac, in ~/Library/Group Containers/6LVTQB9699.com.seriflabs/v2/user you should find items like raster_brushes.propcol & vector_brushes.propcol. Not sure about the others you are missing but they are probably in there too.

Ok, I will check hidden files and I'll make an update tomorrow.

@DEF13 Thanks for bringing this up. I have experiencing the same issue on macOS Mojave and Affinity Photo 1.10.3.

Since I've done the last upgrade of Affinity Photo, I've constate lots of glitch when I zoom in/out in a picture. Actually, the only solution is to downgrade to restore a perfecte working condition …
There is also issues with the layer tab. Layers appears and disappears randomly (it looks a refresh data issue).

Since Catalina and BigSur and now on Monterey the same old story, very slow startup on Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer an Affinity Publisher. Serif can you do better? Since almost 2 years the startup of this 3 apps is annoying. Other company as ON1 do better. So whats wrong Serif?

I wasn't in the mood to do any proper work this evening so was messing around and tried emulating quilling in AD with the letter A. As it was trying to copy hand curled paper it also meant I didn't have to get the curves or spirals perfect.

@ Fixx : No of course not But the Irix's Picture Viewer has got simple great options to enhance the sharpness of a picture. I have never found this kind of options in any picture editing softwares. In fact you can find these kind of options in 3D softwares to correct and to adjust the antialiasing before a render (antialiasing filters - AAF) ... I have to write a post with examples because results are really good !

My customer demands an uncompressed TIFF file. What do I do? It's not for me to discuss with the customer if uncompressed TIFF files makes sense or not - if the customer wants it I'll have to deliver it! What do I do? Does AP force me to load the compressed TIFF to PS and save it as uncompressed TIFF file from there?

80s retro graphic design for a famous french DJ (and a friend).
He asked me to illustrate his podcast channels. We have validated together a retro 80s design style with all the codes of this period.
Here are the first two design of this project ... Fully made with Affinity Photo.

A painting/illustration made entirely in Affinity Designer and a Wacom drawing tablet. I wanted to complete a digital image without first drawing a sketch and scanning it into the PC.
 

About an hour and a half. Daub brushes, shows how good Affinity is.

Just wanted to let you know that yesterday Frankentoon released a new brush pack for Affinity Designer called Texturizer Pro. It's a collection of more than 50 texture brushes for being used in Pixel Persona.
 
The brushes can be mixed together to reproduce a (super) wide range of real-life textures, from very subtle noisy ones to more extreme/destroyed surfaces. You can create super complex and organic looking results super fast and very easily. Here's an illustration I made using the pack (even works for text effects as you can see)
 

 
I've been working on this pack for the last 6 months. I spent like 4 months collecting textures with my camera, then selected the more suitable for the pack, edited in Affinity Photo and after a month of work within Affinity Designer, they're finally here!
 
Has been a blast to say the least. One of the most fun and exciting experiences in my life! So I hope you can have lots of fun messing around with your art too.

My next personal challenge (to learn AD) was to recreate a sports car. The Lamborghini Aventador is just so beautiful, so it had to be that one!
 
All work is done in Draw Persona, no images added or "pixels" used.
Really miss possibility to curve the gradient line, but I think I managed to find ways around it, where I needed soft surfaces :-) .
Used a couple of images as reference.

Amazing things can be done with AD, I just love it more and more. Having so much fun, just creating, not having the software being a limiting factor!
