I downloaded Affinity Beta 1.10.5.1, and that fixed the issue at least. I am able to export without any issues.

Unfortunately I am having problems exporting anything from Publisher/Designer after updating to OSX Monterey 12.0.1. I have tried with different documents, also completely new documents only with a single shape, and after the clicking on the "Export" button on the export dialog box, nothing happens. In some instances the app also "freezes". I see there are other having other issues as well. I tried to Export a single project from Affinity Photo, and did not experience any issues there. I am not sure if it is Apple, or Affinity that need to provide a fix for the issues, but a quick fix is much appreciated, since exporting is not possible at the moment.

Hi I do lots of exports from Affinity Publisher and Affinity Designer. I really miss a button in the toolbar to be able to do this. I know I can choose Export in the menu, and also use Keyboard shortcuts, but I would like to have a button as well. It don't have to be there by default, but at least as an option while Customizing the toolbar. This would be a feature request across all three Desktop apps.

OK. Thanks. That worked. Will do it that way.

Here is an example. By exporting this as SVG (Digital small size), without any effects gives a 9kb file. By adding some "Outer shadow" to some of the elements, the SVG = 102kb. I am not sure how I can control how whether or not these effects are being rasterized. AD Test.afdesign

Hi Using Gradients, or shadow effects dramatically increases the exported SVG file size. Do anyone have any tips/tricks for how to use gradients in a way that does not affect the file size? This is important for use on webdesign etc. By example, a file was 4kb, without gradient. Introducing 1 gradient and 1 shadow effect resulted in a 60kb SVG file. Anders

Hi. After doing lots of research, the problem seems to be connected to the single image. I removed it, and then tried to copy and paste it from Designer into Publisher. Publisher would then crash. When trying to export, I would only see the export section for a second, before it crashed, not being able to make changes to the settings. When I exported the image from Designer as a png, and then placed the image into Publisher it worked. So the problem seems to occur when using the specific image as imported from the Designer file, and later on also when trying to copy/paste the image into Publisher. While doing a manual "Place" to Publisher solved the problem. At least for now.

On my first export to pdf, that seems to have corrupted the publisher file, the image on the file also got "scrambled". I also have tried to reinstall the Publisher app.

OK. I are used to use a lot of different software. But I find the table style editor hard to understand. But I understand what it "tries" to do, at least. But some additional guides in the UI for how to use it might be in place.

I see the option of the table style. And that is ok. But I don't see that is possible to make a setting for "every other row". But maybe I don't understand how the table style editor works.

Affinity Publisher looks really great! Only feature I have found that I miss is the ability to have alternating colors / formating of every other row, and maybe column. I just canceled my last Adobe subscription Anders
