I discovered an older topic about this, offering a solution by user @>|< , involving equations in Filters ➔ Apply Image, see this image:

It'd be great if the Affinity developers could turn this procedure into a one-click solution, or even better: a non-destructive adjustment.

@MattP Marble Madness it is! The Amiga had a brilliant, arcade-perfect conversion in its first year after the Amiga 1000's release. It was like arcade heaven at home. 🧡
@Smee Again Hahaha, that was the Commodore 64, yes. I also had one of those before the Amiga. Precious childhood memories of the digital revolution's exciting early years.

Sure, here's a comparison between the pure rendering from Keyshot and the result after adjustment in Affinity Photo.
As you can see, I've emphasized details, increased value dynamics and used LUT to change the color grading.
