  1. Thanks for your replies guys! @MattP Marble Madness it is! The Amiga had a brilliant, arcade-perfect conversion in its first year after the Amiga 1000's release. It was like arcade heaven at home. ๐Ÿงก @Smee Again Hahaha, that was the Commodore 64, yes. I also had one of those before the Amiga. Precious childhood memories of the digital revolution's exciting early years.
  2. A loving tribute to the once revolutionary Commodore Amiga 1000 computer, released in July 1985. Made a pixel art setup in Affinity Photo, then drew vector shapes over that in Affinity Designer. You can earn a (higher) place in my coolbook if you can guess the game. ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐ŸŽจ metinseven.nl
  3. Hi, Just wanted to mention that there's an interesting thread going on about the pros and cons of Affinity Photo versus Photoshop at the Blender Artists forum: https://blenderartists.org/t/affinity-photo-upcoming-3d-texturing-features-unveiled/1220787
  4. Hi @GarryP, Sure, here's a comparison between the pure rendering from Keyshot and the result after adjustment in Affinity Photo. As you can see, I've emphasized details, increased value dynamics and used LUT to change the color grading.
  5. Mario and friends ๐Ÿ„ Based on a concept by Dave Mottram. Initial scene created using MoI 3D, sculpting done in ZBrush, rendered using Keyshot, post-processing / color grading performed in Affinity Photo. ๐ŸŽจ metinseven.nl #mario #nintendo #mushrooms #hammer #moi3d #zbrush #keyshot #3d #illustration #characterdesign #design #gaming
  6. Ice cream monster. ๐Ÿฆ He could never enjoy ice cream without people laughing. Based on a concept by Paul Gill. 3D scene created using MoI 3D and ZBrush, rendered using Keyshot, post-processing / color grading in Affinity Photo. More where this came from: metinseven.nl
  7. Thanks for your reply. The original is at the top, upscaled with the straightforward Nearest Neighbour method to match the size of the other images.
  8. Hi, I love it that Affinity Photo includes pixel art upscaling algorithms, and I've got a kind request for some improvements. Many thanks in advance. Currently, the best pixel art upscaling algorithm in Affinity Photo is xBR, but there is an improved version of xBR called xBRZ, which is noticeably better, and makes the regular xBR obsolete / dated. Also, xBRZ can upscale up to 6 times, while xBR stops at 4. I've attached an enlarged comparison of my pixel art upscaled with both xBR and xBRZ (4 iterations).

  13. Hi @GarryP and @firstdefence, Thanks for your feedback, appreciated. I understand your points (pun intended ๐Ÿ˜‰). I've created a fairly drastic remix of the image, making the shapes not-so neat anymore, and adding some extra grunge texturing. I personally like this more. It's more raw, more experimental, like a cut-out style.
