OK I tried putting the plugins manually to Affinity Photo and working within the Preferences window to get unknown plugins recognized. Here is what happened:
DxO--selecting Film Pack crashed AP ("unexpectedly quit")
Nik--was able to select the filters, but the preview was not visible and none of the buttons worked
ON1--not recognized by AP
I'm running OS El Capitan on an iMac 5k and AP 1.4.

I am a new member and new to Affinity. I am excited about having great alternatives to Adobe's offering, and I have a request for plugins and "send-to" capability for several tools I use regularly:
DxO--Optics Pro, Film Pack, Viewpoint
On1--full suite
Nik--full suite
Other tools that I don't use, but are very popular:
Topaz
CaptureOne

Similar to photoshops, there would be an option to stack photos to create a photo that is in full focus, used for landscapes or macro.

I'm late to the party but I shared on FB anyway--Affinity Photo is the best Photoshop alternative I've seen, and I'm looking forward to learning more about it!
