Dan, thanks so much for the feedback. Although i have both desktop versions and iPad Pro version my question should have stated i was working in the iPad Pro version. Is there the same tutorial for the ipad version?

Okay, it was relatively easy to place a new sky layer on an old faded photo but I cannot seem to merge the layers without overlapping the photo. What changed with the new update first.

Secondly, how do I accomplish this in the new version?

Any suggestions or help are greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to export the modified AF photos back into Photos?

I have Affinity Photo on my iMac. Do I need to buy a 2nd copy for my MacBook Pro or can I obtain a 2nd license? If so, how is it done. 

That said, how do i enable Affinity extensions for the photos app?
