    Hi @Chris Potter,
    Welcome to Affinity Forums
The workflow you are describing is typical of software for image organization (DAM - digital asset management) and processing like Lightroom or Capture One Pro usually used by photographers to manage and step through multiple images of a session/photoshoot and edit them one by one or apply common presets/adjustments to several at once. Affinity Photo doesn't possess any image organization features. It's just a RAW/photo editor comparable to Photoshop where although you can open a multiple RAW's at once you have to work on them individually.

    You can already do it.
File > Open will give you a file manager (Finder or File Explorer, depending on your OS). Select the file(s) you want to delete, and either:
For Windows, press Delete; or For macOS, right-click and choose Move to Trash.

I'm genuinely puzzled why all those smart folks who argue that "if Serif doesn't implement [insert your wet dream feature here] then they will go out of business in three, two, one" simply don't start their own company and make the big bucks themselves…?

Zadat můžeš přesná desetinná čísla, jaká chceš. Ale jak zmínil @GarryP, program ti pak "zatají" desetinná místa podle předvolby "Decimal Places". Přesně z tohoto důvodu je mám všechny vždy na "6".

Is the problem that the actual number is not accurate, or is the problem that you are not seeing the number with enough decimal places?
You can set the number of visible decimal places, in places like the Transform Panel, via “Settings → User Interface”.

The meaning of the instruction in this part is independent from an application and doesn't differ between Adobe and Affinity.
The second sentence means accordingly that …
    • overprint/Überdrucken has to be activated for the spot colour,
    • layout objects have to get it assigned in 100% (no reduced tint/Ton),
    And to prevent from rasterization:
    • no effect/filter/adjustment must be applied to these layout objects,
    • no image/pixel layer may get it applied,
    • the according objects must have their layer blend mode = "Normal" + their layer opacity = 100%.
Below the swatch creation and use in steps 1-5:

What!! That's just mental! I did as you suggested and my invisible link icon appeared (but it was still very faint). After locking in my exact pixel dimensions all the gaps in the exported GIF file went away. Thanks very much for helping me solve this problem. Does this need to be reported as a bug, or are the developers already aware of it (it sounds like they are)?
I've been living with many documents that have bad WxL all this time for such a daft reason...

It's not obvious at first glance, but the Lanczos 3 (non-separable) resampler has quite a strong sharpening algorithm built in.

I have no clue what you are talking about. press Escape once – or twice if you have a text selection – then press any tool shortcut you want.
Alternatively hover the pointer over the frame border to change it to a temporary Move tool. can't comment, I don't use my Wacom that often to bother There is a longstanding bug with tool keyboard shortcuts as of 2.2.1. (It's been finally fixed in current beta 2.3.0 which is still plagued by many other bugs, like betas usually are, so use it at your own risk.) But in general as of 2.2.1, as long as you work in the primary persona, you can change the tool shortcuts to whatever you desire. The specific bug affects "only" the secondary personas. You're soooooo helpful. (No, you're obviously not. ) Use the search field. — In Affinity, every object/layer is already a "smart object". This has been discussed elsewhere. Search the forum and add your vote there.  ? *.ai per se is a proprietary format that would require reverse engineering. Some other apps have apparently done that already, with varying success and results. Use those if you need the crack open an *.ai without PDF stream, or (as I do) keep a pre-subscription Illustrator CS installation on a compatible computer for Justin Case. Sorry, but from your earlier "we all know that" response I'm not sure you understood the comment.
If you also own Designer, then Publisher also has the Knife tool. You just need to switch to the Designer Persona.
So, you certainly wouldn't need to pay a monthly fee to get a knife tool, you just need to buy the additional application in the Affinity suite if you don't already own it. And if you do already own it, you just need to switch Personas to do that operation.

    Hi loukash,

The doubling up of shortcuts is something that I noticed when retesting the initial fix, however, it isn't new to 2.3 and also affected previous releases. It has now been logged as a separate issue with development to be looked at. It only appears to affect some Tools, and only if they've had their shortcut customised.

So the temporary solution here is "Don't change horses in the middle of a stream (giddy up, giddy up, hi-ho silver)" (quoting Tower Of Power… )
    As in:
Don't switch from Light UI to Dark UI or vice versa while working with Symbols.
There's also a workaround for fixing it "on the fly" without having to save and close an open Designer document:
File→Edit in Publisher or Edit in Photo (doesn't really matter since we won't be editing anything there) quit Designer back in the other app: File→Edit in Designer voilà, the Sync button should be back with both states visible and with the document in the same state where you left off

You're applying "Leading Override" (!) which is a character attribute. That means it will affect only words – and thus lines where the words currently are – which you have selected while applying it.
Generally, you should keep Leading Override in the "Auto" mode and use the paragraph leading attribute instead.
Use Leading Override only in instances where you know what you are doing. (No offense intended, but these two attributes that each serves a different purpose are the cause of way too much confusion among Affinity users )

Alright, in v2.2.1 it "works" like this:
It will work in the Dark UI until you switch to the Light UI where it's broken. Then when you switch back to the Dark UI, it will be broken as well, until the next time you relaunch Designer. And exactly vice versa, if you launch Designer with the Light UI, it will work, but it will break if you switch to the Dark Ui.
