  1. OK I see now that since I bought this at the App store that the update is there. Sorry. I hope that the free packs come with. Ron
  2. Is this supposed to answer the question on how to update? Because if it does I'm still in the dark here. I have Affinity photo 1.5.2 or something like that. I have yet to see a link on how to upgrade. Now I read above that I need to create an account but it doesn't show me how or where. I got emails from this company saying to get the upgrade but it doesn't say how. This is my last effort here. I'm about to buy another software here so please let me know.
  3. First of all you haven't responded to past messages so I almost didn't write in again. I'm giving it one last chance before I give up on your software. When I first got Affinity I was shown how to use your editing features within Aperture. I did exactly as you taught me. Now some months later after editing from Aperture to Affinity and back I find that the saved photos are no longer readable on Aperture. I also find that photos that I uploaded to Flickr are no longer readable there. They were originally so these were once readable and they are no longer. All that editing work is lost. I don't think that people at your company any longer care about the Macs. You are all into getting the windows going You haven't updated your software as promised for batch editing etc. Someone should let the mac community know this so that serous photo editors don't waste their time on your product anymore. I don't mean to be unkind but since your support seems to have disappeared and it happens at a time when I really need it there is no other way to put it. Ron Taube
  4. Thanks Meb that video was helpful. My problem was not with the undo. I know how to undo. It wasn't letting me undo. I was getting an error message about it. It isn't happening now so I'll let it go for now. Ron
  5. Ok Today it works. It was not export it was file/share/photos or file/share/background image. Well yesterday it crashed repeatedly but today it asked to repair a folder which i allowed and then everything worked. Ron
  6. Hi Well today i tried to reproduce the issue and it didn't happen again. I tried with Affinity develop affinity haze removal and affinity retouch and none of them had the problem. Those were likely the extensions that I used yesterday. I tried with several different photos and no problems. So I'll get back to you if it happens again. Thanks
  7. This happened over and over. When trying to export a photo to Photos it crashed and it crashed when trying to set a desktop photo. I think you call it background photo. At least that's what I think it is. Any solutions? Ron
  8. Aperture had a wonderful feature that I have not found on any other photo editing software and many people have commented on my prints because of it. The ability to put titles on prints in the print software. You can also add metadata info reposition the photo and do minor further editing . Please look into this because it is something I will miss when Aperture finally shuts down. The included Images are screenshots of the printing screen options in aperture Thanks
  9. Hi I did some editing using Affinity within Photos and mostly it works but with some photos I do the editing and then when I go to saving it I got the following message. Unable to Edit with Affinity an unexpected error occurred. is there a fix for this? Ron
  10. I still use Aperture and have been using Affinity as an external Editor. Now when I had photoshop elements 12 as an external editor after I worked on a photo in PE it would save the new version back to Aperture, no problem but with Affinity I have to export it as a Jpeg and then import it into Aperture again. Is there any way around this? And one more thing is there anyway to batch edit within Affinity? Ron

  12. I just got this and already I'm ready to return it. I tried out the in painting brush and in an attempt to undo it said that I had to first take a snapshot history . Well your search topics don't include snapshot history after some effort I found the history part but no snapshot history. So in frustration I deleted the photo and closed the program and then reopened it with the same photo and I was stuck in the same place of having to find the snapshot history in order to move on. Well I'm stuck now. I've been watching tutorials and like most complicated software i expect it to be harder than the teacher indicates but if you can't even find something in the help search then that makes it impossible to follow. Please help. I understand that I have a few days from the apple store to return this but I'd like to figure some things out. I've used aperture for years as well as photoshop elements but this has things on there that thoroughly confuse me. Ron
