On a Windows 11 desktop, I was exporting in TIFF (but after closing the file I could not reopen it, because the file type is not supported). I've also tried to export in PSD, and I tried to export in EXR and JPEG XL - these last two extensions caused Affinity Photo (v2.6.4) to crash. By the way, I am exporting TIFF bicubic (or bilinear) - 32bit no compression. I've tried exporting with and without metadata and icc profile. Each time, my file is about twice the size (which makes sense due to the 16bit file). At least saving it in .afphoto works (although it's about 25% bigger than a 32bit TIFF). But if I compress the 32bit TIFF (for example, I used zip), it will save and open. How frustrating has this been?
Any ideas?
