  1. TYVM Alex, but please don't let it be your obsesion. I will manage somehow. :) Everything would be fine if our official script was latin. BTW, the only app which I can use for work is InDesign where I can easily change RU/BG glyphs with MK ones. Next one is QuarkXPress and after that -- none. :)
  2. Thank you Alex, I have them already, but the problem with most of them is that they support only Russian (and Bulgarian automatically), but not Macedonian and Serbian language. And, even if they support MK and SRB then they give us Russian/Bulgarian small letters "dgtp" in Italic versions of the font(s). Pro versions of some fonts like Minion, Myriad, Warnock, Arno... have these MK italic glyphs, but the other problem is the Microsoft doesn't support them well in MK keyboard. Soooooooooo, you can see our Tantalus problems.
  3. Well, this has nothing with type designing, just a litlle workarround to get the job (well) done. :)
  4. It depends of the font -- what characters can be used, or if not any, then you will have to draw it. Maybe you can use LLL and draw just a little line bellow. :)
  5. You can get Ж with normal K and flipped K, but for Щ you will have to spend some time to see what you can do with other characters in a font. BTW, if some letters can't be done with flipping and rotating, it doesn't mean that the idea is bad, isn't it? :)
  6. It would be really handful and time saving if Affinity apps could flip, rotate, move characters inside text. I live in Macedonia where we use cyrilic alphabet. But not all fonts support cyrilic alphabet so I have to "create" some of them using letters from the alphabets inside the fonts. For instance, to get cyrilic letter "Г" I have to flip latin letter "L". For now I have to make a lot of text frames and them rearranging them which is very time consuming process. Please, help.
  7. Here is another idea: Why not put the palettes horizontaly like in Canvas with an option to rearrange them? It could look like Excel Sheets and every user can move any palette to the position sutable for him. This way it will take only one row and the space on the right side would be free for work.
  8. It would me more than enough for the start if they implement the list I offer.
  9. Thank you Brett for letting us introduced with your work. It is really very nice and you should work in some of the world's famous cartoon studios like Disney, if not.
  10. It looks very realistic. Just like a photo. Great work indeed.
  11. Fantastic, just as the other drawings are.
  12. Yes, they can be activated/deactivated by check marks or by radio buttons, or...
  13. Hi, it would be very nice if you offer in Publisher an option for text cleaning. It should do this: 1. removing leading and trailing invisible characters (spaces, tabs...); 2. replacing 2+ spaces with one; 3. removing space(s) before interpunction signs; 4. adding extra space after interpunction signs if there is no any (omit numbers); 5. removing empty paragraphs. In FrameMaker I saw an interesting idea. They allow you to enter in a special window (including the options I mentioned above) something like this: "Which characters must have spaces after" "Which characters must have spaces before" "Which characters must have spaces before and after" "Which characters must have no spaces before and after".
  14. Well then, you first open the desired app, then open the file via "File > Open"... or right click and choose the app.
  15. Having in mind what Designer and Photo offer right now, it woudn't be surprising if Publisher offers some vector and bitmap capabilities.
  16. In this case you must wait for Affinity Publisher at the end of this(?) year. You can do a lot with Designer, but every app has it's own speciality.
  17. The only disadvantage is that your OS might work a little bit slower. So, I recomend any font manager for temporary instaling fonts.
  18. You can try "Equation Editor" from MS Office, or "MathType" from http://www.dessci.com/en/products/mathtype/
  19. Thank you MEB, but what about two other questions?
