Hi, I noticed (on Windows) that you have a "Common" folder where Affinity apps are installed, but there are only .DLL files inside. So, I would like to suggest if possible to add all 3rd party pencils, brushes and other similar files in that folder (maybe in subfolders?) regrardless the application that use them. The benefit of this will be: 1. No need to install them separatelly between final and Beta versions; 2. Easy for back-up, installing new ones (by simply copying them in appropriate folders) and reinstalling when needed.

Hi, the feature I suggest here will make easier converting text documents from one page format to another (but only if working with styles which are "Based on:" some main style). Imagine this situation with 3 paragraph styles: Body Text, 12pt Heading, 18pt, Based on: Body Text Footnote, 10pt, Based on: Body text Then you change the font size in Heading to +6pt, and in Footnote to -2pt. After that you change the Body text font size to 10pt and the Heading font size is automatically set to 16pt and the Footnote to 8pt. Real font size (in the default MU) should be displayed next to "font size" box. This can be done also with percentage values -- bigger or smaller than 100%.

I completelly agree with you and I hope that everything dealing with text (except artistic text) will be removed from AD and APh once when Publisher will come out. Also, I work with publishing software 20+ years and used a lot of software like PageMaker Quark, InDesign... and I still can't understand the logic of text styles used in AD and APh. Why do I need paragraph settings when I want to create a character style and vice versa? I really don't know what are the developers try to invent here. A hot water? If these text styles are going to be implemented in APub, then Publisher would be totally useless for me. For me, InDesign has the best way of dealing with both kind of styles and it should be used as a model for APub.

Yes, "Freehand Selection Tool" in combination with SHIFT for straight lines, works great, but what we need more is Magnetic Lasso Tool.

I've just discovered that the "Freehand Selection Tool" works also as a "Polygonal Lasso Tool" in PS if you press and hold SHIFT key. So, why this method couldn't be used in drawing with "Pencil Tool" in Designer? This way, you can remove "Pen Tool" and "Node Tool", too. Nodes could be added by double clicking on a line segment and removed by double clicking on them (as in CorelDRAW). Each time you click on a node by holding the SHIFT key, you change the line segment type to sharp, smooth or smart. Dragging the straight line segment converts it to curve (Xara), automatically. It would be nice also, to emphasize the segments to which the conversion will be applied, if multiple nodes are selected.

Let's put it this way: You, in person, have 10 computers -- 5 with WinOS and 5 with MacOS. You have to buy 2 licenses, for each app, and you can install them on all computers. You are not allowed, even they are your own computers, to run the apps on all 10 at same time. It is supposed, in this case, that 10 people are working at the same time. But, you can open and work with each oh them on any single computer by your choice. If any other person(s) is involved you have to buy additional one licence for that person if he is going to work on only one OS, or two licences -- for both OS's. Or, to be more precise, because you have 2 licences for each OS's, you or one more person, can open and work at the same time on both OS's.

I press on one style then Undo, then on some other then Undo again, in some point the color is not the same as it was on the opening of the file.

Yes, it is not harmful at all, but if you remove those two boxes, the others can go easily to the main window. :)

Hi, 1. Open the file (see the attachment 2. Select the background, then invert the selection to select the flower 3. Click and Undo several times repeatedly on different presets from the "Styles" palette to retrieve the original starting picture, it doesn't work. Instead of bright red, it get dark tones.

Hi, I found that "Erase Brush Tool" and "Background Erase Brush" do the same. They erase to transparency. I tought that "Erase..." shoud clear the canvas with selected color, as in PS. Would it be better if there is only one "Erase Tool" and choose the options from context toolbar: 1. Erase to foreground color 2. Erase to background color 3. Erase to transparency 4. Flood erase with their respective parameters?
