There are 4 icons of Affinity apps on my taskbar (2 betas, 2 final). It would be nice if we could see version numbers (if we have the latest ones) when hovering with mouse instead of launching the apps just to see them.

1. Before / After preview check box for tools in "Adjustment" panel and in some others (if there) 2. Double click on "Zoom" tool zooms the picture to actual size (CTRL + 8) not to 100% (CTRL + 1) 3. in "File / Export" possibility to choose all needed formats for export with check boxes next to each export format icon and show all options in one window (remove "More...") 4. Join "Open" and "Import" 5. Join "Save", "Save As" and "Export" 6. Remove vertical line used for rotating an object. It can be done on the corners 7. Add handles to "Rectangular" and "Eliptical" marquee tools for precize positioning and resizing.

Yes, all Affinity apps have perpetual licences and you should pay if you want to upgrade to v. 2, 3, 4...

Hi, are there any chances for support of JPEG 2000 format? As you know, this format produces very small losless files and Photo can give it a second chance. It can successfully replace JPG and TIF files and if it is possible to add layers to it, it would be fantastic.

Small change in font menu?

No, it does not. It starts searching from the beggining of the list, starting with favourite fonts first. -
Small change in font menu?

In CorelDRAW they are grayed out. No, I don't specify any characters, CorelDRAW recognize the language set (keyboard) you are using. -

Hi, it is nit a bug but I would like Affinity team to make a little change in searching the font menu. Here is "the problem": 1. I have an artistic text (text 1) with the default font and I search in a font menu for another one; 2. I apply some font (Calibri) to the artistic text and make a copy of it (text 2); 3. At this point, Calibri is set to Favourite fonts in the top of the font menu; 4. I select "text 1" and want to continue searching for another font but font search starts from Favourite fonts (from top) instead of its real position in font menu. Could it be done? Another request about fonts: Some of us use languages that are not supported in many fonts (like Macedonian). So, is it possible when the text is written with Macedonian support to remove or gray out the fonts that don't have Macedonian support in the fonts list instead of displaying it in the default font?

Feedback From a Xara User

And maybe we are accustomed to use such UI's which previous generations of soifware gave it to us and those UI designers didn't know how to make a good design. :) -

It may be better if they are in a raw, bellow the context toolbar, instead in a column on the right side? -
Problems exporting to .jpg

Maybe it's better idea to move "Export..." into "Save" or "Save As"? -
Well, IMO the name "Designer" is not apropriate for this app. Serif team should named them by their famous Plus family: ADraw, APhoto and APage. "Designer" is much more apropriate fot all-in-one app and ADraw should deal strictly with vectors, APhoto with bitmaps, APage with all the rest. First two need only "artistc text" feature, not styles...

XPress is just a pale shadow of what it used to be in the past. They are trying to do something now but I don't believe they could be better than InDesign anymore. They lost too many precious time. I gave them tons of suggestions but they don't answer to my posts or just simply ask me: "why do you need this feature?". Maybe they are tired of working, riched their programming limits... Their forum is almost dead, if I may say.
