Hi, can vector objects retain color attributes? Example, I filled the object with green (C100, Y100) with 50% tint and 50% opacity. Later on I decided to change green with orange but I want tint and opacity amounts to be retained. If it is not possible, please consider this post as a feature request.

Hi, is it possible to import Excel charts entirely as vector objects? If not, please consider this post as a feature request. I tried all combinations from "Paste Special" but the main data (rectangles, cones...) remain bitmap. It would be extremly nice if you add feature for creating charts in some of your apps.

Beta informs about beta's and retail about retail's.

"Levels" and "Curves" miss Black, Gray and White eyedroppers.

Please, don't be so angry about this matter. If anybody want to see Publisher finished, it is Affinity team. You forgot they they live from this and they are under bigger pressure then you are. So, be patient, we will get Publisher just on time.

I have the retail/stable one, but the Beta always informed me if only new beta arrive, not for stable one.

@affi.usr: For now, you can batch rename all the files lightning fast using free apps "Total Commander" or "Free Commander" and then continue with your task. P.S. BTW, don't be so impatient. Affinity developers do their job the Earth way. They don't have time to visit God and learn how to make things happen at the blink of the eye. :P

Just a short story: A Chinese wise man asked his friend to remember as much objects as possible, in the room that have brown color. After a while he asked him to close the eyes and tell all objects with blue color. "But I concentrated on objects with brown color only", said the friend. It would be enough if they just do it same as for outlined text.

In InDesign you can just double click on a middle dot of the lower line of the text container.

In that case, what is the purpose of artistic text? I don't think it is too complicated to fix this. It is just matter of free time.

Hi, There is plenty empty space inside text container when it is selected with selection tool. It is very hard to work with if there is an overlaping text. It should tightly fit the text just as when it is converted to outlines as shown in an attachment.

If you follow the tutorial, you will see what is missing in AD or does some feature need improvement...

Try to convert this excersize from Illustrator to Designer. You can practice a lot of features of Illustrator and Designer and you can see what features Designer still needs. Maybe you should change InDesign with Quark. It's new capabilities allow converting PDF (and not only PDF) into native and editable objects.

Hi, I think it would be nice if you add feature of importing color definitions (CMYK, RGB. Lab) from a file (TXT, CSV, XLS). I have a lot of standard colors I am working with and it is tedious job of entering them manually.

What I meant was this: After betas with 4 numbers, follows retail with 3 numbers (1.5.2.nn -> 1.5.3 without the 4th number). After that betas continues with 1.5.3.1 and so on.

Hi, why there is no information about this new version in "News and information" forum? And BTW it should be numbered 1.5.3 because the Beta version is 1.5.2.57. Why is it going retrograde? This version is numbered 1.5.2.58 and it is not Beta but retail one. It is very confusing.

Also, PhotoLine is only portable and I have a licenced version of it, beside it is pirated, also. So, it is up to the person's consciousness.
