Hi, QuarkXPress and InDesign have global colors by default. Why Affinity apps use "static" colors beside global? Why don't you remove them?

I do not ask for something I do myself. For example, yesterday on Affinity Group on Facebook I saw a member asking for some help. I downloaded the JPG file he put it on FB, traced it in CorelDRAW and save it in SVG. When I opened it I couldn't break the curves apart to work on it.

Hi, In Adobe's apps like ID, PS, AI, every value or setings you change becomes default for the new document you open. It would be really great if Affinity products can work like this.

Hi,In CorelDRAW there is a command "Combine" (as in Designer) if you want to make all selected curves into one and "Brake Apart" if you want to do the oposite. I can't find "Break Apart" in Designer. Can anybody help?

Hi, is it possible this part of the screen to be used for changing the measurement units instead in Preferences?

It would be nice if Affinity try to make a filter that will import corectlly the RTF file which is damaged with Word export filter.

I don't think that the problem is in Affinity but in Word's export driver. Why else a RTF file from TextMaker works well and Word's doesn't?

95% of Word users could be satisfied with Notepad only, the rest 5% could use Worpad.

Well, you may banned it in your firm, but can't do it in the real world where there are plenty of Word users who use it because they are used to it, not because they really need it.

I don't have problem with the font, but with importing.

Thanks Mike. I resaved the RTF file with TextMaker from SoftMaker Office package and it is OK. Does someone from Affinity staff read this to see what they have to do with such a problems?

Here it is what I get from importing RTF file:

IMO importing Word files is a MUST for a DTP app that has an aspiration to be the best. I don't think that RF format supports Word's formats 100%.

I hope it will be added into Publisher and also in Designer after that (maybe in Photo, too).
