  1. You can find on internet a lot of books and book covers templates. Most of them can be easily imported into Publisher (Photo or Designer).
  2. It would be nice if it is placed on the info line at the bottom of the app and always visible. If text is selected, the info would be about the selection, otherwise for the whole document.
  3. Yes, it works, but it is too clumsy. You can zoom in/out by accident. Someone can consider it a bonus, but not me.
  4. Hey, it works!!! Obviously I didn't read your instruction carefully. I thought you were talking about #2. Thanks Mike.
  5. Hi, here is my feedback while working on a long document in Publisher: There is a need for a modifier key (CTRL) for temporary acivating "View Tool" ("Hand Tool" or "Scroll Tool" maybe) in both cases -- while working on text or not. ID has 2 modifiers: ALT when working on text and SPACE when text box is not active. This is rather confusing and can lead to mistakes. I often get duplicated text box or text style when using ALT key in ID. To select multiple paragraphs which are not on the same page in Publisher can be done only by click and drag. The disadvantage of this method is that when you approach to the last pareagraph the scrolling is much faster and you need to go back and forth until you find the last paragraph. In ID you can click on the first paragraph and SHIFT click on the last one which is impossible in Publisher because the text boxes are not active (selected/editable) and the focus is lost. (bug?) When I change the value for the "Text Styles > Paragraph > Spacing > Left Indent" in a text style, the value for the "First Line Indent" is changed, too. This is rather unfamiliar and confusing for those users who work with ID or QXP. IMO the best place for the first two options in "Text Styles > Language" which are "Spelling" and "Hyphenation" is in "Paragraph > Hyphenation" Section and for the other two -- somewhere in "Typography" section.
  6. Oh, never mind. Maybe it's not very serious and LAB mode is not used too often.
  7. It is just very easy to do that. Just: Remember the starting value of the "L" slider; Drag it to any direction; Enter the starting value for the "L" slider; The image is not the same as it was at the begining.
  8. Hi, when modifying the image while draging the "L" slider, it can't be restored even if you enter the starting "L" value manually. Only with "Undo". Is it a normal behaviour, or...
  9. If I understood you well, you have editable PDF document. If so, select the text and import it directly to Publisher - if the text doesn't have footnotes or endnotes - and format the text with paragraph and chacarter styles.
  10. PhotoWhoa is secure site. I've bought a lot of stuff from them. Of course, the real price is not $900. No one would pay it. All prices are arround $30.
  11. I don't know what's happening with you people? Do you have in mind that Publisher was born few months ago? You expect it to behave as it has a PhD diploma? You compare Affinity apps with software that is already on the market for more than 15 years. And yes, I am searching through the forum since it is opened. Do you see how many posts do I have and when I joined the forum? Of course I am aware of all missing features of all 3 Affinity apps, but I am patient. I am waiting for them to come. I've already dropped Photoshop and Illustrator and now waiting for features I need to be added to Publisher and to drop InDesign and Quark, too.
  12. Hi, I found this site offering 2000+ presets for Photo: https://www.photowhoa.com/deals/affinity-photo-presets-bundle/?mc_cid=213b9b6289&mc_eid=580afe0e75
  13. Create new multipage document with facing pages set, Go to master page and on each page draw a text frame, Set the frames to any number of columns, Link the frames, Go to first page and insert a text.
  14. ... to continue: maybe it would be even better if A-Team implement most wanted plug-ins as native features in the appropraite apps.
