  1. Hi, I tried to import a sheet from an 55.xlsx file and nothing happened. Then tried to open oblozi.xlsx and same happened. When I tried to open the first one, I couldn't find it -- reallocated into another folder. After that Publisher freezed. When I, somehow, closed it, it didn't want to start after that. When I restarted the computer and tried (several times) to open an XLSX file it immediately crashed. 55.xlsx oblozi.xlsx
  2. This is not a Drop cap. It is inline graphic. It would be nice if the text wraps at the right side of the curved Drop cap.
  3. Partial implementation will do no good and there are much more to be included in a "Book" such as: Allowing files shuffle within the book keeping page numbering/footnotes/endnotes/cross refferences, indexes... in proper order. Master file/chapter changings (page size, margins, text styles...) must be followed by the other files/chapters. Creating global PDF or separate PDFs (file by file).
  4. Even easier and faster. Open the PDF into Acrobat. Print into PDF with the desired format. No need of Publisher in this case.
  5. And what can I say with my 15" laptop and the 4K resolution? I'm, even, younger. Just 61 years old.
  6. Designer has the best "New" dialog box than Publisher and Photo. I suggested to change them and still waiting, too. :)
  7. Now, we come to the question from my first post. Why different actions in parent and child layers?
  8. That's OK, but why in parent layer some options are active and some not, and in the child layer all options are active?
  9. Hi, Symbols work fine if, in this case, an "(EXAMPLE)" layer is selected. But, if I select a "(Symbol)" layer, I can't rotate, resize and skew them. Also, when playing with "Detach" and "Sync" I can't synchronize the symbols any more.
  10. Hi, here is a suggestion for the forthcoming new feature. It would be the best with a "book" feature, but becouse it is not here yet, two ideas came to my mind. For now, placing stories one by one in the document is he obvious solution beause the endnotes would be placed easily to the end of each story and could be easily restared from 1 (not continuous), but... If the imported text is a sum of stories, an unlink text boxes feature would be the first solution to get separated stories as in the first case, and the second one could be (having in mind to keep the document as one part) adding "endnotes break" (just as "page break" or "section break") at the start and at the end of the endnotes position.
  11. Thanks, Woefi. I think A-Team will manage to fix both of them in the next version -- resources and unicode support.
  12. Yes. This file was part of InDesign book. Some other files from the book open without problem and some of them (which need to load pictures with names in Cyrillic) can't find the pictures. Probably unicode is not supported well.
  13. No, but now I've seen that the names are written in Cyrillic. So, maybe problems with unicode support.
  14. I tried same file twice and got the "Missing Resources" message and I couldn't select any option: Yes, No, Resource Manager. One file opened correctly. Another one opened with missing pictures, and when I opened Resource manager the names of the missing features were criptic names (see the attachment) so I couldn't locate the pictures.
  15. Publisher freezes when I tried to open an IDML file. I got message "Missing Resources" and I could not click on "Yes", "No", "Resource Manager".
  16. Please, make decorations available for images, too. Beside lines add brushes for decorations, if possible.
  17. Everyone is aware of this. A-Team, too. I'm pretty sure they work on this solution and it will come soon. Not in 5 minutes as an answer to your post. Just wait. We all need this feature as many others. Just be patient.
