    Aren't they integrated enough? You can even open one of the apps inside another of the apps. And the file format is the same for all of them.

    The integration can be even better if they:

    1. make Preferences common for all 3 apps with separate sections for apps specific preferences;
    2. if you can drag & drop objects between apps;
    3. allow common swatches, object styles, text styles...

    Also, Affinity is fully packaged and supports multiple languages. The help system embedded in Affinity Photo 1.10.5 on macOS is 130.6 MB, double the size of the entire PhotoLine app. I think it's more important to have a great help system that is available offline than it is to reduce the file size.

    I developed software in the old days and we had to keep things small because we distributed it on floppies and the app had to run in very limited memory. If I was building those apps now I wouldn't worry at all about file size.

    Hey, I didn't say anything against Affinity. All of this was about the apps sizes.

    Hi,

    One of the most awful things in InDesign is how style names are changed in a book made of multiple documents: one by one, per each document.

    It would be great if Publisher allowed a faster way to do this on a book basis. Keep the styles in sync in all the documents/chapters making a book, and allow batch-renaming of a style in all the documents/chapter with a single command.

    Lets first see if Affinity will offer this feature in v.2. There is not such a feature in v.1, yet. :)

    I would not do that.

    At least, we agree that something like this is need it and how you will use it is up to your liking.

    Here chapter has 'space before' = 0 and this 0 from frame top edge.
    –> But now quotation, the next paragraph/style, pulls chapter down by its baseline grid if chapter is set to respect baseline (where actually none should exist in the frame according this grid start setting) …:

    Well, you'll have to do some math and adjustments, as well. :)

    I wonder how this might work independently, guess it would require a different concept of leading where paragraphs do not depend on / refer to others but the frame only?

    Let say, something like this:
    Heading -- space from top margin = 0 mm
    Subheading -- space from top margin = 15 mm
    QuoteSubheading -- space from top margin = 40 mm
    Body Text - no indent -- space from top margin = 70 mm
    Body Text -- space from top margin = 0 mm (means it starts immediately after the previous paragraph which is in this case Body text - no indent)

    and after that everything works as it works now.
