Hi, can anyone point me in the right direction please? I use Affinity Designer on my MacBook (and was a long time user of Serif DTP software before going Apple). I can create simple stuff & edit designs I have created but am by no means an advanced user!
I have some files created a while ago by a graphic design company, and I want to update a tiny part to be used again next year. They gave me jpeg, eps & pdf versions. When I open any of the formats I can't seem to edit just a tiny part like one letter or section of the design. So for example if I try to delete a tiny thing it would delete a whole big section.
I appreciate the easiest answer is to give it to a graphic designer, but this is for a community / non-profit making activity, and therefore anything I pay out is a cost. And I'm pretty sure I should be able to do what I need with Affinity.
I know there are tutorials and help pages, but I'm not sure what question I should be asking! Here is one of the files (eps) I simply want to change the 5 to a 6 so it reads 2016. Can anyone explain in plain terms how I can do that? I have a number of other files I need to alter, so if I can find out how to do one that would really help. Thank you
