Sorry if this is answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find it by searching.

 

How do I create new swatches and save them? I'm doing something which needs the same colours across multiple things and so I need a swatch with the right colours on it I can open across all the different items.

I've created an outline path which I have filled with the colour of my choice. I need to create a transparent area inside that. I can create a second path around the transparent area, but how to I subtract it from the first path?
