Hi, I bought AP very early on, possibly direct from Affinity rather that the app store. My current version is 1.4 and want to upgrade to the latest version. I cannot see any update option in the app store and there is no update menu item. Can you tell me how to go about it please?

Good morning - just started trying to learn AD from the Workbook and i have a couple of really basic questions; 1) How do I turn off the various pop up measurements and automatic node selections? I'm trying to follow the workbook and I can't because my lines keep connecting automatically to the wrong points! Most annoying. 2) I'm trying to do the Editing Curves section on page 97. Whenever I add new nodes, I seem to always start a new curve instead of adding to the existing curve. I assume I'm doing something basic wrong but I can't work it out - apologies in advance but can anyone help? Many thanks

About a year ago i installed 16gigs of RAM in my iMac specifically to aid performance with Aperture. Since upgrading to El Capitan, things have really slowed down - I'm waiting upwards of ten seconds to load 24mps images which used to just snap in with absolutely no lag whatsoever. Ten seconds doesn't sound much but with 200+ images to sort and edit, its a real bummer and takes the gloss off my photography. I would happily tear a new one on the guy (or gal) at Apple who decided to dump Aperture. My strategy, having been very pleased with Affinity Photo and Designer, is to stick with a very slow Aperture and wait for the Affinity product but I've got to admit it cannot come soon enough!

I too am hanging on for an Aperture replacement!

Hi Peter from the UK. Have purchased AD and AP - very satisfied already. Like a lot of others I'm waiting for an Affinity DAM to replace Aperture. Is there a waiting list I can join to be notified when it comes out?
