Yes, I do all my editing in Final Cut, but mostly I need special graphics for Motion projects. 

Pixelmator Pro can now import clips and color adjustments can be made and exported as LUTs. Cool.

 

[Anti-aliasing artifacts after refining selection to mask]

I've found that Output with 'New layer with mask' does not behave the same as outputting with 'mask'.

Afterwards, whenever I try and paint in areas of the mask from "new layer with mask" , I get weird artifacts and the mask is not filled in. 

However, with just the output from 'mask', I can correct areas that I've missed.

Anyone else experience this?

The ability to work directly with Apple Motion from the Affinity Suite would certainly add to the appeal of Affinity.

Also, how about the ability to work with video files? Pixelmator Pro now has this ability. 
Please move Affinity into the video realm!

I have since opened the file on my home computer and it did return with the correct colors. Now, I need to figure out what is wrong with my configuration on the office computer. Ugg.

Even though I have the 'convert to working space' checked inside of Color Preferences, the imported eps is still using the incorrect color.

The file is fine if opened from Illustrator. If I convert the file to .ai , Designer 2 will import correctly.

Anything I can do about this?

[Apple Photos to Affinity Photo roundtrip problems]

I just discovered what the problem was.
I had the 'Development Assistant' raw output format set to RGB (32 bit HDR). The development adjustments now take hold in Apple Photos with this setting.
Color me surprised, however, that Photos won't take in these settings. Much to learn on my end.

Yes, I have tried that, but it still comes back in Photos as very dark.

Using Apple Photos to 'Edit in Affinity Photo' opens my RAW photo in Affinity and allows developing. However, saving the image and going back to Apple Photos and the image is very dark. 

Am I missing something in the  'Develop Assistant'? 

Using latest 1.10.5 on M1 Studio Mac.

Agreed. This is something that Designer sorely needs. 

Especially now in these days of desktop machining and 3D printing where designers are being asked "how do we produce this?".

Even just putting in dimension line capabilities would go a long way in helping product design.

[Moving a mask]

I've noticed that if I move a mask (and the accompanying background layer), I am no longer able to refine it.

 

Am I doing something wrong or is this something to be fixed in the future?
