  1. @GeirSol Check to see if there are any updates available for your GPU drivers. Is this happening with any document or particular one(s) do they have any common elements such as placed images/files? Are they stored locally or on an external or cloud storage?
  2. @Luis Simon Can you confirm your workflow for me, so I can go through the same steps to replicate.
  3. @noone Welcome to the forums. Check to see if Hardware Acceleration is enabled within the apps Settings > Performance, if so please disable and restart the app. If it still happens, go back into Performance and try changing the Renderer to WARP and restarting as this bypasses your graphics drivers. It may also be worth checking to see if there are any updates for your graphics drivers.
  4. @RedSnapper If you right click an existing file and select Open With Affinity Photo does it open? When you use Faststone Viewer to open Photo, does it then remain open until you close it? Can you check the apps Settings > Performance to see if Hardware Acceleration is enabled, if so turn it OFF and restart the app. You can also try resetting the app, hold down CTRL and open, some options should appear, release the key and click Clear.
  5. @TrilexWe do an issue logged with the developers that relates to the x/y position with the Spline JSON option, I can add your report to that.
  6. @ArturAs Strange how they aren't showing as they should, see my screenshot. If you resize the panel, does this have any effect? Which version of macOS are you running?
  7. @cdw Ideally text wants to be imported with none or little formatting applied. This then allows you to use the text tools, styling etc within our apps to apply to the text, without third party formatting causing any issues. We've had requests to add an option to clear text formatting, so could be something for the future.
  8. @Debbie S You can try the suggestion here, as iPadOS doesn't seem to have a way to set which app opens files if more than one version exists.
  9. This is an issue we're aware of and it's logged with our developers to investigate further.
  10. @Truthseeker10 I've passed this over to the developers to investigate further.
  11. @zjyhjqs I've logged your file with the developers to take a look at, however we don't have an ETA on when this may be. For the moment do you have a backup of the document to revert to instead.
  12. @peexel Part of the issue is that Windows doesn't like paths that are longer than 260 characters. So for the moment I recommend changing your file structure/naming process to have a shorter path. In the recent 2.2 update we changed the way files are handed and introduced a lock file, see this FAQ article. Due to the long file path this may also affect the creation of the lock file when trying to open the files.
  13. I can't seem to replicate this on my macOS system using Designer V2 (2.2). If I select 4-5 PDF files and use Open With > all of them open, some quicker than others depending on content/multiple pages. Does it matter which files are selected? Do any have security applied? Do they open in Designer individually?
  14. @webmamadou Welcome to the forums. Have you tried resetting Publisher to default settings? With the app closed, hold down the CTRL key and open the app. When the options appear release the key and click Clear. It may also be worth checking to see if Hardware Acceleration is enabled within the apps Settings > Performance. If so, try turning it off and restarting the app. You can also get a crash report from your system to see if this shows a possible cause.
  15. @smadell I Still can't replicate the issue on our systems. Could you provide a link to your file (.afphoto) used via DM so I can take a look, just in case. Also to cover basics, have you tried resetting the app?
  16. @Sam Neil I've managed to reproduce the issue using the image you provided via Dropbox. It seems to relate to the images EXIF data. I've logged it with our developers to look in to and see if a fix can be applied. For the moment the workaround is to not use File > Save but Export out to a new file instead.
  17. Hold down CTRL and open the app, then when the options appear release the key and click Clear. I'm sending you a link via DM to upload one of the files shown in your screen recording for me to also test with.
  18. I've been testing the process on multiple systems and can't replicate the issue. Have you tried resetting the app to default settings to see if this has any effect? Hold down the CTRL key and open the app, some options will appear on screen. Release the key and click Clear. You can also try turning off Hardware Acceleration within the apps Settings > Performance and then repeat the process to see if the same occurs.
  19. Hi @EIZO CS2420 Welcome to the forums.
  20. @Darren harborne Issues relating to Hardware Acceleration are looked into by our developers. However some to the GPU drivers, we've reported these to the manufacturers for them to look into themselves to hopefully improve support.
  21. I've logged this with our developers to look into to see what improvements can be made.
  22. @DianeF It may just be down to a small confusion on the workflow. If you right click on a page and then use Add Pages from File or Document > Add Pages from File (existing document). You then get the options I referred to, see screenshot
  23. @DianeF When you use Add Pages from File and you get the dialog appear. Is the option for Ignore Initial Section unchecked?
  24. @Street2Stream If you can do a screen recording that shows this occur as it will help in trying to replicate the issue to then pass to our developers.
  25. @smadell I can't seem to replicate this on our M1 MacBook, can you do a screen recording (full screen) so I can see the issue occur.
