Hi @Slphotography welcome to the forums. Not something I can currently reproduce on my systems, if you don't merge the adjustment and just leave it as its own adjustment layer does the colour change remain? Would you be able to provide a link to the image used?

It's also crashing for me, even if some/all of the steps are removed. Without knowing the exact record process it may be difficult to narrow down the cause. Can you try recording the macro again but also recording the screen at the same time so I can see the whole process. In reference to the included document, any particular reason for the layer structure?

Is it possible to upload a crash report?

All ok for myself as well, I had to relink some resources first but then exported using the default X4 preset and everything looked ok, see below. As @joe_l asks, was anything on the X4 preset changed?

Have you tried opening the same RAW file using File > Open instead of going through the Astrophotography stacker? Since you're using macOS you can also try switching the RAW engine over in the Develop personas Assistant. Some users prefer to pre-process their RAW files and use TIFFS instead, it's something worth trying, just in case. Otherwise it will be providing some of the files so we can do some testing.

I've attempted to recover your file but unfortunately haven't been able to, so I've logged it with our developers to see if they can do anything, however I can't provide any eta on when it will be looked at. If you have a backup of the file I suggest using that instead.

Hi @Jeannette welcome to the forums. I downloaded a version installed on tested in Publisher on macOS Monterey (12.4), see screenshot. Have you tried to reload or get a different version?

@radium56 Have you tried the suggestions above that @thomaso has linked to? As clearing the user data should resolve the issue for you. @Heyhi You may/may not have the same issue as it will depend if the crash reports shows the same. If they do please try the suggestions above, if not please start a new forum post expanding on the issue and your workflow.

Hi @tfb Welcome to the forums. This has previously discussed and the way our RAW engine is designed will always open the file as colour despite the B/W tag being present in the metadata. This does allow you to do the conversion in Develop to fine tune the image instead of relying on the default profile.

It's worth trying with Metal Compute disabled, open the apps Preferences > Performance and uncheck, restart the app and try your workflow and see how the performance is.

Would it be possible for you to provide a copy of one of the files this is happening with so I can test on our systems?

Try opening the apps Preferences > General and make sure Present on external displays is turned off.

@vpkumar Welcome to the forum. You're getting the prompt to open a recovery file when reopening the app due to the crash as it will load the last autosave. Can you open the apps Preferences > Performance and check to see if you have Hardware Acceleration/Metal Compute (Windows/macOS) enabled. If so please disable, restart the app and try your workflow again, if it still occurs please expand some more on the issue, also see if it happens with a new blank document.

HI @ddashanghai welcome to the forums. Is this happening with any document or just one? As you're using a beta of macOS, have you tried using Publisher and exporting the same file in a non beta version of macOS to see if the same occurs?

@Rune H Can you please check Windows for a crash report for when these crashes occur on your system and upload them here. These may narrow down a cause of the issue. Also is this only occurring with certain documents or with any that you create?

It's working fine for myself, are you using Photo or Designer on iPad? Make sure the Invert adjustment layer is in the correct position. If you are still having an issue can you do a screen recording showing the workflow.

@JKR For an existing file have you checked its file properties to see if any security has been enabled as our apps don't have any options for this as it's OS level. Right click the app icon and try running as Admin and then starting a new file, adding some content then then try saving to the desktop. If the same occurs please do a screen recording showing the whole process. If you have any AV or Firewall software running, try turning this off while trying to save. it's been known for some to restrict writing access to some apps. Try creating a new Admin user account in Windows to test using as it may be caused by permissions. Can you use File > Export and save as PDF or other file type?

Have you tried using the Clone Tool instead for that type of work, especially larger areas.

@IFR If it's only when pasting this is a known issue thats logged with the developers, see this thread for some workaround suggestions.

@henrod You may be experiencing this issue, please try waiting to see if the app does open. There is also a link to a possible workaround for you to try.
