Thanks for the file, I still can't reproduce the issue using Export and PDF for print, the embedded document shows every time. Can you reset Affinity by opening the app with the CTRL key held, on the window that appears, select Clear. Out of interest, which version of Designer are you running.

Hi chbrier, Once you have inserted/placed your object, select it on the Layers tab and drag it below the Artboard.

They may, on the Stroke dropdown, click the Pressure option and change that as that mimics using a tablet.

Try resetting to app to hopefully resolve any performance issues by holding down the CTRL key and opening the app, on the window that appears select Clear. Once you have drawn your line, which brush are you selecting, a built in one or one thats been imported?

Hi Mike018, Welcome to the forums. When creating a new document you have an option to create an Artboard, but no option to specify how many, spacing etc. If you have an existing Artboard open with an object that you want to create another Artboard from. Select the object, then using the Artboard Tool, change the Size dropdown to Selection and then Insert Artboard.

Linked files may be something we include in the future.

Hi jamesroy, The large file sizes happen because our file format is optimised for loading speed rather than size. Some things that can have an effect on the file size are saved history, resampled image data.

Hi ggt667, Open Preferences > User Interface, tick Show Selection in Layers Panel and then Close. Now when you right click an object it will highlight that object in the Layers Panel.

Hi Big_Stan, With the Brush Tool selected, select More on the context toolbar and then switch to the Dynamics tab. Here you have options such as Size which you can set to use Pressure or leave on their default setting.

Hi AtelierCunha, Batch processing is possible in the 1.5 beta of Affinity Photo, when ready this update will be uploaded to the Mac App Store for users to update to. If you have already purchased Affinity Photo you can download, install and use the beta alongside the Mac Store Version.

Hi SurJones, Some apps that can be used to view PDF files do require a setting turned on before Bleed line are visible on a PDF document. Which app are you using to view the PDF and have you checked for this options?

The Google Nik Collection can be installed and used with Affinity Photo, our plugin support is always being improved and when we release our 1.5 update more plugins will function. You may want to take a look at this video on installing the plugins within Photo, but not all of them are working as they should.

Hi Jeff, Welcome to the forums. If you are running the latest Mac App Store version (1.4.3) and it still asks for the retail version. Move both apps to the trash, then redownload from the Mac Store first, then install the latest beta.

Hi Michael, This issue does seem more unique to your setup as I can't reproduce it using some large TIFF files (200MB+) and saving to my NAS over wifi. The second image did take around 16 seconds to load while the first file was still saving but both operations where completed and the program never became unresponsive.

Hi Mediafuel, Out of interest, which version of Mac OS are you running? When you have the Save window open, what happens if you use select the Mac OS HDD option on the left hand side or the system under Devices and then Mac OS and navigate to the same folder as before that you wish to save the file to. The reason why is I found this post on the Apple support forums with a similar issue with Safari and seems to be an OS issue. L
