Is this happening with all RAW files or just a select few, can you provide a Dropbox/Google Drive link to a sample file for us to test. What is you system Spec, are the files stored locally or on an external drive?

Hi Capdepomt, Welcome to the forums. If you're purchasing from the Mac App Store, their end user licence applies. If you're purchasing for Windows, this will be direct from ourselves and we have our own EULA, some information on that can be found here and during the program installation. Currently only Affinity Designer can be purchased direct as Photo is still in it's beta testing phase. With regards to updates, these will be free as we continue to work through our current development roadmaps for each application.

Hi bleduc, When exporting to PNG, click the More button, here you have some more options available. Such as Pixel Format, this sets the colour mode for the exported image. ICC Profile, this will include the current colour profile within the documents data.

Hi mgperilane, Welcome to the forums. I can't seem to be able to reproduce the issue, is this happening with all images you to use the Affinity Develop extension in Apple Photos. Do the other Affinity extensions work OK?

Hi DavidMac, The Macro feature will be continued to be improved overtime, at the moment Edit > Copy does work in a Macro but doesn't show in the list. However a possible reason why it's not recorded correctly is because it copies the same object at the time of creating the macro. For example, open an image and record a macro that consists of Edit > Copy, Edit >Paste now save that macro. Open a different image and apply the macro, the image from when the macro was created is pasted.

Hi DanATF, Welcome to the forums. The Affinity DAM application is not going to be released anytime soon, we have other things in the pipeline we want to release first. So I don't think you need to be making any changes for the moment as its features haven't been specified. It's nice to plan ahead, but I think it's a bit too early. :)

Hi KipV, It's happening with me when I try the same process. Even if the first edit from Affinity Photo is flattened and saved when it's transferred back to Photos it still loads the original if you repeat the process. I believe it's related to revert to original feature Apple Photos has.

Hi Raymondo, The apps currently don't have an save option for the 3D and Emboss effect profiles, however they do save within the document. If you feel having this option would be an advantage, please post in our Features Requests section of the forum for our devs to look into.

Hi SebaSan, Welcome to the forums. When exporting to PDF, which preset did you select and did you change any of the settings under More. If you can provide a copy or link to your .afdesign file I can take a look. Once I've done with the file it will be deleted.

Hi DreamThinkLive, The Flow option doesn't have a keyboard shortcut available and I believe you have previously posted in the Feature Requests section. Hopefully the developers decide to include it in a future update.

Hi p10n, Do you know if you updated Designer to 1.5.2 yesterday, the reason I ask is we found an issue with the update. If the update was installed and the app opened all presets where deleted. Some users have reported using Time Machine to revert back before the update has resolved the issue. We've now resolved the issue in a new update 1.5.3. See this post for some more information.

Hi pjglad, You can use the Soft proof Adjustment has that has an option to do a Gamut check with a colour profile from your printer, see this video for a bit more info on Soft proofing.

The Media Browser isn't as in depth as the one in LR, they are different apps after all. We do plan on developing and releasing our own DAM app in the future to work with our other apps.

Hi squeezer, Welcome to the forums. It's not something I seem to be able reproduce, which version of Affinity Photo are you using and which OS? After doing some refining are you closing the Refine tab and then reopening to do some more? If so Have you tried doing all the refining in one go?

If you have already downloaded the latest update to Designer (1.5.2) from the App Store but have yet to open the app you have some options available to you. 1, Don't open the app and just bear with us, we are in the process of resolving the issue and releasing a new version. 2, If the app hasn't been opened download the PresetsFix.dmg from here and follow the steps below. Once downloaded double click on the file PresetsFix.dmg A Finder window will appear, drag the Defaults.plist into the Resources folder. You may get a prompt asking to Authenticate, click the Authenticate button. You will then get another prompt stating the file Defaults.plist already exists and if you want to replace it, click Replace. You may receive a prompt to enter your User Name and Password (OS X Login) enter and click OK. Now you can close the Finder window, you can also drag the Source icon to the Trash.

Hi squeezer, Welcome to the forums. Which beta are you using Mac or Windows, if Mac have a look at this video and check the everything has been done. If you're using Windows have you setup the location folder location of the plugins in Preferences, it should show the default location for them for Windows, which is C:\Program Files>Google Nik Collection.

Hi Petar, Affinity Designer and Photo have been available to purchase for the Mac for some time,we refer to these as the Mac App Store versions or MAS. If you have purchased them for MAC you also have access to the betas for MAC, these are builds that we test new features in before we update the MAS versions. At the moment only betas are available for Designer and Photo for Windows as full versions haven't released them yet. Hope this helps L

Hi UMOKGDABDA, Welcome to the forums. If you use the Colour Picker which is located on the Colour tab and you click and drag to select your colour. Once you release the mouse button the colour will populate the small swatch next to the Colour picker icon. Just single click this and the colour is then transferred to the colour selectors. If you use the Colour Picker Tool from the Toolbar, you just need to click your colour once and it will fill the colour selectors.

Hi basketbeau23, Welcome to the forums. To check which Raw engine you're currently using, switch to the Develop Persona and open the Assistant Options. On the dropdown for RAW engine you have Serif Labs and Apple available, if you change, click OK and close and reopen your image. If you continue to have issues with those RAW files, please can you post a link to a sample file for me to test.

Hi rlavallee, Welcome to the forum. The Media Browser is only available on macOS, at the moment the Help does reference the Media Browser. This has been noted and the Help will be updated.

HI CRC, Welcome to the forums. It sounds like you are looking for Batch Processing, which will be a feature included in our 1.5 update to Affinity Photo. If you have purchased Affinity Photo from the App Store, you can download the beta from here and use it side by side with the App Store version.

Can you email affinityorders@serif.com with your order information and that can be looked into for you.

Where did you get that particular brush from? and just to confirm this happens with the Basic brushes as well.
