  1. Hi Mayukh, Welcome to the forums. Can you provide an example of the difference you see, how are you uploading to Flickr and Facebook?
  2. Thanks for the screenshot, do you have any software installed that allows you to use an iPad as a monitor, such as Duet Display? We had some reports during our beta testing of something very similar, once that software was removed ours worked.
  3. Hi DesignMeister, Create your PNG with a transparent background, in terms of the shape, I've always created them with a colour, in my case usually always red. :)
  4. Hi mkuehn, Welcome to the forums. After you have pasted and with the layer still selected, you can switch to the Move tool and then reposition/resize the selection as you require, you aren't limited to that position. Paste Inside allows you to paste a layer inside another layer.
  5. Hi bru, In Preferences > Colour, have you set the colour profiles you've created using your sensor to be used. As I repeated your process of creating a shape setting the colour to RGB 2,4,2 and taking a screenshot. When using the Colour Pickup Tool it reported the same value, RGB 2,4,2. My system is setup to use sRGB IEC61966-2.1.
  6. We plan to develop and release and our own DAM app in the future that will interface with our apps. :)
  7. Hi Grigio18, Welcome to the forums. You can use the bracket keys to increase the size, to change the hardness, hold ALT and the right mouse button in, now press and hold the left mouse button in and move the mouse up or down.
  8. Hi ffpereiragomes, Welcome to the forums. You can setup Affinity Photo to be an external editor in Lightroom within the Preferences. You will then get a prompt if you would like to adjust the original or a copy. Once you have done in Affinity, save the image and it will update the thumbnail inside Lightroom. You could create a batch job containing adjustments that you could run on the multiple images.
  9. Hi Dr. Dölling, Welcome to the forums. At the moment we don't currently support the .fit file format, you may want post in our features request section on the forum for our devs to look into adding the support for those types of files in a future update.
  10. Hi FoxTalbot, Affinity Photo doesn't have an option to batch save multiple open files, you would need to save them individually. You can batch convert JPG into .afphoto files using File > New Batch Job. It may be worth posting the suggestion of having an option in our Feature Requests section, it may be something our developers can include in a future update.
  11. Hi Sparkleybright, Which OS are you using and is this happening with all images using File > Open?
  12. Hi cxsnaus, Welcome to the forums. I've just tested Lightroom CC and Affinity Photo 1.5.0.45 on my system and the Edit In feature is working fine. Can you check the Preferences in Lightroom to make sure it's not still set to open the beta instead of the full version.
  13. Hi Allan, Welcome to the forums. Which Tool window or toolbar are you referring to?
  14. Hi Littlereg, Welcome to the forums. When the program is open, can you see the top menu that has File, Edit, Text etc, if so click View > Toggle UI. This should hopefully bring back the other toolbars and menus. If not with the app closed, hold down the CTRL key and open the app, a window will appear, click Clear.
  15. Hi tchris, Welcome to the forums. I've just test a couple of videos from pages 18 & 19 and they download fine for me. Do you see the Download button when you view the video page and if so what happens when you click it? Have you tried using a different internet browser?
  16. Hi MK, Thanks for letting us know. Bridge is picking up our internal build number 1.5.2, which is out of step from our public build number 1.5.1. It will resync when we eventually move to 1.6.
  17. If you have a single image open, you can switch to the Tone Mapping Persona and apply adjustments and apply. This can't be done if you have different exposure images open on different tabs in Photo. You'll want to use File > New HDR Merge, you have to browse and select the files you want to use but this will then merge and Tone map HDR the image, if you have that option selected.
  18. Hi 2kroz, Welcome to the forums. It's hard to suggest a particular method without seeing an example image. That being said, have you tried using the Inpainting tool or Clone tool to remove the spot from the image?
  19. Hi pwop, If you have images that have different exposures and wish to combine them, you want to use File > New Stack, this video has more information on how to use this feature.
  20. Hi grabbitmedia, This forum is for users of the Affinity range of apps to ask questions and seek advice. It may be better for you to post on the Amazon forum instead with regards to your issue.
  21. Hi Flocki24, As Windows doesn't have native built in support to preview PSD files the thumbnails. The one you see will be a program seto by Windows to open the PSD by default. So you would need to have a third party program installed that was able to read PSD files to generate a preview for them, if you do an internet search you'll find some that can be used. If you save as one of Affinity's file formats, afphoto, you'll get a thumbnail preview. We have plans to develop and release our own DAM application that will be similar to that of Bridge in the future.
  22. Hi Michael, Welcome to the forums. Currently Affinity doesn't handle colour management when printing, this is all done in the Print window dialogue. As you have found out, you need to click Show Details > Color Matching > ColorSync and then select a colour profile. The user referring to having 1.5.4, is more than likely confusing Affinity Photo with Affinity Designer
  23. Hi Andy, Welcome to the forums. Akvis plugins can be added to Affinity Photo, I would first check to see where they installed. Ideally they want to be in their default installation folder, should be something like C:\Program Files\AKVIS. If they aren't you could uninstall them and then reinstall to the default location. In Affinity Photo click on Edit > Preferences > Photoshop Plugins. Under Plugin Search Folders click Add and select each of the plugin folders, then just make sure the Allow "Unknown" plugins to be used is enabled and click Close, you'll get a prompt to restart. Once restarted click on Filters > Plugins and Akvis will be listed. The above process applies to most third party plugins, if you are confident enough you can move the plugin files into the Affinity plugin folder (C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Photo\1.0\Plugins) and have them all in one location.
  24. Hi Dave, Welcome to the forums. Within the Develop person is an option on the Details tab is an option for Detail Refinement. Once you have finished developing you will switch to the Photo persona. Once there you can then use the Sharpen filters from the Filters menu. You can also use the Selection tools to select a particular area and then apply one of the sharpen filters.
