Hi Ash, Welcome to the forums. It does sound like the issue is occurring in the Develop persona, have you tried turning the Develop Assistant off all together. Then run the macro on a .ORF file and JPEG to then compare the two? If you're running on a mac, you can also try switching the RAW engine used in the Develop persona from Serif Labs to Apple Core.

Hi Pinnochio, Welcome to the forum. When on the Print window and you select Printer Profile the dropdown will show RGB profiles that are available as they are mainly supplied with Windows and with your printer drivers. The same applies to another photo app I have installed and tested. Which printer do you have and which CMYK profiles are you wanting to select?

Hi rmaddox, Welcome to the forums. Our store doesn't have an option to purchase items as a gift or for someone else. As during the installation of the software it will prompt for the email address used on the store account and the product key we generate, which is based on the email address. One option would be to setup a free email address, then place an order for the app and workbook using this free email address as part of the order process. This is so the receipts and product key are sent to the email, then just give the login details for the email account and store account to the other person so they can then access to download the app. New features are planned for the store and hopefully a gift option will be one of them.

Copy a Layer Mask
Lee D replied to John M's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Hi John, Welcome to the forums. Right click the layer and select Duplicate (⌘J), a copy will then appear on the Layers tab. You can now move this onto another layer. -
On1 Browse and APhoto
Lee D replied to tonyt's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Hi tonyt, If you're using On1 Photo Raw, this may be due to them not being able to read our native file format for them to display a thumbnail. -
Arrowhead?
Lee D replied to olly's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Hi olly, Welcome to the forums. Arrowheads for use at the end of lines are still to be added to Affinity, this will occur in one of the free future updates. Arrows are part of the Quick shapes which if you want you can use them to appear at the end of the lines. -
Hi Watcher, You don't need to redirect the program to load from any specific folder, the installer puts all the files in the correct location. The only other app so far we know can cause Affinity on Windows to crash on startup is FastPictureViewer Codec Pack, do you have this installed? If so if you update to build 3.8.0.9, it should allow Affinity to open. Another option would be to do a clean boot in Windows 7 and see if anything else that's starting with Windows is causing the issue.

HI CapnJonas, Welcome to the forums. When you use File > Open, which fle types don't have a thumbnail preview, what's the file type? If it's our own format .afphoto, a thumbnail of the document should also be saved in the file by default. This option may of been turned off, if you open Preferences > General, Save Thumbnails with documents, enable and select Close.

Hi Eisbar, We plan on developing a digital asset manager, it may have similar features to others available. However at this time we don't have any other information available. -

Hi Cleary65, Welcome to the forum. Can you provide a screenshot of how the panorama looks after stitching. Can you also provide a Dropbox or similar link to the files so I can test them? -
Photo will not start
Lee D replied to Dave-OLW's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Hi David, Welcome to the forums. Can you provide a screenshot of the Shortcut tab after you have right clicked on your Affinity Photo icon and selected Properties. Showing the end of the Target address field, I would like to check it, as that command should overwrite the message. -
