  1. Hi newbie2, Can you PM me your email address and/or your order number and I will get this looked into for you. Have you checked your Trash/spam folders, just in case?
  2. Hi JT_Allen, We're currently working on a workbook for Affinity Photo, no eta on when it will be released yet. But when it is, we'll make an announcement letting everyone know. :)
  3. Hi elbingo, Welcome to the forums. I can't seem to reproduce this issue using a Wacom Bamboo we have in the office in Affinity Photo on both Mac and Windows. Can you check the drivers versions you have installed, just in case. Versions of the ones I downloaded: Mac OS: 5.3.7-6 Windows: 6.3.15-3 Try resetting the app, hold down the CTRL key and launch the app, a window will appear, release the CTRL key. Now press the Clear button, if you click Clear All it will also remove any brushes, styles and other presets you have created.
  4. Hi amandad, Welcome to the forums. Affinity Designer doesn't have a autotrace feature to convert an image into vector, it's something that may be added in the future. For now you would need to use another app to trace and save and then import into Designer. Once you have used our Text tool, you can select and convert the text to curves, this will give you individual graphics to adjust.
  5. Hi derrickf, Welcome to the forums. I've passed this over to the developers to look into, hopefully the registration details can be retained.
  6. Hi Tom1960, Welcome to the forums. You'll need to start with a new Pixel Layer and then use the Gradient Tool or insert a quickshape to act as a background. Then use the Gradient Tool to apply to the shape, then move the nodes to adjust the gradient.
  7. Hi TinPianoMan, I'd start by ensuring your images are of high quality, so when they are resized they don't distort. You also need to decide if you are designing your project to size or scaled so it's enlarged by your printer. Also does your printer have any requirements for the file that you will send to them, PDF, CMYK, Bleed etc.
  8. Hi allcats, Thanks for the steps, always helps ;) I've tested them in our latest beta and it seems to be fixed, although I'll do some more testing later. We don't have an eta when this update will be released yet as fixes are still being added and tested. But I'm sure we'll make an announcement letting everyone know when it is.
  9. Hi voba, Welcome to the forums. If you only Assign a different profile your image should remain lossless as its not converting the image to another. You can also use the Soft Proof adjustment to preview your image with a different colour profile. Any adjustments you make are then based off the soft proof, however you can turn off this layer. Your adjustments will then show using the assigned profile.
  10. Hi ciscrh, Welcome to the forums. I can't seem to reproduce your issue when using gradients. on my Windows machine, which has a slightly lower spec than yours. Perhaps you could provide an example file that I can open and test on my system?
  11. Hi Erwe, Creating 360° panoramas isn't something Affinity Photo can do at the moment. It may be a feature we add in the future in an update to the app.
  12. Hi Grexi, Can you PM a link to one of the original JPEG files so I can do some comparisons between them.
  13. Hi Satri, Welcome to the forums. Affinity Designer would be the app to use to design/reproduce something like that, you can then export to various file formats like SVG and PDF for large printing. You may want to check out our Designer video tutorials to give you an idea of how the app works.
  14. Hi allcats, I've sent you a PM with a link to use the download the previous build (1.5) if the issue you have when using the Live Perspective filter is it crashing when top nodes are moved to the bottom, I can't seem to reproduce using 1.5.1.54. If it's another crash, let me know and I can check it's status.
  15. HI IanSG, I've just rechecked it and you're right, I'll double check with the developers and see if it should be available. As a workaround for the moment apply the filter multiple times on the same layer, each one having just one light setup which can be adjusted individually.
  16. Hi IanSG, You can add a Live Lighting Filter, on the Layers panel, click the hourglass icon at the bottom. A new panel will open, from here you can add lights and change their options such as type, direction, distance, colour and many others. You can always re-adjust them just by double clicking the adjustment icon on the layer they have been applied to. You can also use this live filter on different layers if you wanted, to achieve different lighting effects.
  17. Hi John, Just click on View > Studio > Sources and this will reopen it for you. You can also drag it over the other panels and dock it, so it's alway visible.
  18. Hi cliveramshaw, Welcome to the forums. I've tested opening a 69MB RAW file from a Canon 5D Mark IV and it opened in around 11 seconds on my MBP. Can you PM me a link to the RAW file you're getting the pinkish look with and a screenshot of how you see it. Also what size is the DNG file you're attempting to open, would it be possible for you to provide a link to that as well. If you don't have access to file sharing to provide a link, let me know and I'll PM you a file request from ours.
  19. Hi TomS, Welcome to the forums. Glad you're enjoying the software, non destructive RAW editing is something our developers want to add and is on our development roadmap.
  20. Hi FernandoBatista, Welcome to the forums. It sounds like you need to record and save your own macro first applying the setting and adjustments you require. You can then access the saved macros from the New Batch Job dialogue to apply them to the files you select.
  21. Hi Mr.K, Having an option to save the layout of the studio has previously been requested and will hopefully be included in a future update.
  22. Hi Sean, Welcome to the forums. Having separate sections for Photo and Designer is something that we may do in the future or a tag thats added for each app thats selected before posting.
  23. Hi triviesr, Welcome to the forum. It depends on how your business card has been designed and imported into Affinity. To use hex codes you simply select an object, on the Colour tab make sure it's set to Sliders, you can then choose RGB Hex from the dropdown menu. You can then just enter the code into the field underneath the sliders. If you don't mind uploading the file you're importing I can take a look to make sure it can be done this way. If you don't want it publicly available send me a PM with a link to download from Dropbox or something similar. Are you using Affinity Photo or Designer?
  24. Hi Rob, Welcome to the forums. Can you take a screenshot of Task Manager for me so I can see what else is running. Also if you have an AV, anti virus or malware software running could you try turning these off and then running the setup for Affinity Designer again.
  25. Hi tatehimayo, Welcome to the forums. Are you getting the message when using File > Open, where is the file stored on your system and is this happening with every image.
