  1. @Tom2000 Is this with any particular document open in Designer or any such as a new document with some placed shapes? On macOS the Print window is provided to our apps by the OS with the available print options from your print driver. Have you tried removing your printer and adding again in System Settings? You can also check to see if a crash report exists for when the app crashed and upload it to be checked by following the steps in this FAQ article.

  4. @cje You may also want to check to see if Hardware Acceleration is enabled within the apps Settings > Performance. If so, turn it off and restart the app and try the same workflow again as it may be more of a redraw/rendering issue. If it's still happening, can you provide a copy of the Designer file as it would help to see the Layer structure.
  5. @roboto35126 Can you check your system for a crash report by following the steps in this FAQ article. Please then upload it so it can be checked to see if it narrows down a possible cause. Another thing to try, is to open the apps Settings > Performance and if Hardware Acceleration is enabled, turn it off and restart the app. If it also still occurs, please do a full screen recording showing the issue occur to include with the crash report.
  6. We do have a similar issue logged with our developers, can you try the following as a workaround. Open the apps Settings > Performance and if Hardware Acceleration is enabled, turn it off and restart the app.

  10. @GiklabThanks for your report. This is an issue we are aware of and should be resolved in the next update.
  11. With our app closed, try resetting the Windows Store by following the steps in this link. Once reset, try opening Affinity Photo and hopefully it continues to open.
  12. @Raptosauru5 Thanks for your report. I can replicate this and I've logged it with our developers to investigate.
  13. @bordercross On the Save dialog, there should be an option for Affinity Photo 2 in the left hand column under iCloud. Select this and save and an app folder on iCloud should be automatically created. If you don't see an option under iCloud, check your iCloud Drive options within System Settings to confirm which apps can sync to iCloud.
  14. @GeirSol Check to see if there are any updates available for your GPU drivers. Is this happening with any document or particular one(s) do they have any common elements such as placed images/files? Are they stored locally or on an external or cloud storage?
  15. @Luis Simon Can you confirm your workflow for me, so I can go through the same steps to replicate.
  16. @noone Welcome to the forums. Check to see if Hardware Acceleration is enabled within the apps Settings > Performance, if so please disable and restart the app. If it still happens, go back into Performance and try changing the Renderer to WARP and restarting as this bypasses your graphics drivers. It may also be worth checking to see if there are any updates for your graphics drivers.
  17. @RedSnapper If you right click an existing file and select Open With Affinity Photo does it open? When you use Faststone Viewer to open Photo, does it then remain open until you close it? Can you check the apps Settings > Performance to see if Hardware Acceleration is enabled, if so turn it OFF and restart the app. You can also try resetting the app, hold down CTRL and open, some options should appear, release the key and click Clear.
  18. @TrilexWe do an issue logged with the developers that relates to the x/y position with the Spline JSON option, I can add your report to that.
  19. @ArturAs Strange how they aren't showing as they should, see my screenshot. If you resize the panel, does this have any effect? Which version of macOS are you running?
  20. @cdw Ideally text wants to be imported with none or little formatting applied. This then allows you to use the text tools, styling etc within our apps to apply to the text, without third party formatting causing any issues. We've had requests to add an option to clear text formatting, so could be something for the future.
  21. @Debbie S You can try the suggestion here, as iPadOS doesn't seem to have a way to set which app opens files if more than one version exists.
  22. This is an issue we're aware of and it's logged with our developers to investigate further.
