@Pensketch Setting the Range to Selection requires an object to be selected on page for the Print preview to show what's selected. When exporting to PDF, are you using File > Export? as this should be a possible workaround. If you are, which default PDF preset are you selecting? Can you provide a copy of your .afpub file so I can take a look?

@AvdB-Netherlands As well as the info @Pšenda provided. This Help article on setting up the bleed on a document give an example of what some of the lines indicate, as you can also change some of the colours, depending on the line (margin, bleed etc)

@OlliW Welcome to the forums. Can you open the apps Settings > Performance and if Hardware Acceleration is enabled, turn if off and restart the app and see if the same occurs. It may also be worth checking to see if your graphics card drivers are fully up to date.

@Affinity-InspirationThis is working as designed, it's optimizing the SVG export. So when you open the SVG again in Designer, it recognises it as a shape.

@Raphisto Welcome to the forums. Have you tried resetting the app to default settings? Hold down CTRL and open the app, when the options appear, release the key and click the Clear button. If you haven't already, can you try uninstalling Designer from your system, restarting and then download and install a fresh version. If it's still crashing, follow the steps in this FAQ article to check for a crash report. You can then send a copy of the file to me via DM so I can take a look.

@PolygoniusOur apps don't have the options available to set default folders for those type of actions.

@MichaelKing I tested using Publisher V2 on Catalina 10.15 and Sonoma 14.3. But I'm not getting any crash following your steps with a new document or with the one you provided. Have you tried it with Hardware Acceleration turned OFF in the apps Settings > Performance, just in case? Have you tried resetting the app? Hold down CTRL and open the app, when the options appear, release the key and click Clear.

@Intuos5 Very sorry for the delay. I've passed the file over to our developers to take a look at. As it was crashing when deleting pages either as groups or singular for me during testing. On macOS I was able to get crash reports linked to the issue that I've also passed over. On Windows no reports were being generated, but the crashes did seem more easily caused. I did find that after deleting one of the Master pages (4. Footnote - text) the crashes where less frequent and other pages could be deleted without the app crashing out.

@WrenWrenWelcome to the forums. Is it always with the same documents or does it also occur if you create a new doc, insert a couple of objects (shapes) and export? Can you DM me a copy of one of your files so I can take a look? Please also confirm the OS you're using and if you're running V2.3 of our apps and what Export format and options you're selecting.

Hi @mialse Welcome to the forums. On iPad the lens correction is auto applied within the Develop persona if the lens information is available within the images EXIF data. You can manually apply a lens profile but it has to be done using the Lens Correction filter within the Photo persona.

Thank you for the file, that all seems OK. Can you do a new screen recording for me showing you go through the process of opening the app and trying to activate, just so I may confirm that as well.

To confirm you're using the version downloaded from the link I provided (Affinity Store) and not from the Mac App Store. If you right click on the activation window, you should have an option to run the Connectivity Checker. This will produce a PDF file, please send me this via DM so I can take a look.

@Stann Close Affinity Photo, then hold down the CTRL key and open the app. When a window appears with options, release the key. Now leave the default options checked, but also enable Deactivate Affinity 2 apps at the bottom and click Clear. The app will continue to open, then try activating again using your Affinity ID as your order is valid on the system.

@Stann To confirm, you get the window shown in your screenshot, you then click the " I already have an Affinity Photo 2 or Universal licence" link at the bottom and you get the same window? You aren't prompted to enter your Affinity ID?

@Stann After clicking on " I already have an Affinity Photo 2 or Universal licence" you should be prompted to enter your Affinity ID (Affinity store login). After entering them, what's happening? Also make sure you don't have any AV or Firewall software running that may prevent our apps from communicating with our server.

@Stann Welcome to the forums. The DMG files are available to download, nothing should need to be generated first. Are you downloading direct from our Affinity Store, can you provide a full complete screenshot? Another option is to use this link instead to download Affinity Photo V2 (2.3.1), once installed you can then activate using your Affinity ID.

@Emvisc Welcome to the forums. Have you tried moving the files you're wanting to insert to another location, such as your Desktop to see if that makes a difference?

@MikeTO I've logged this with the developers, along with your sample file. I just wanted to confirm the workflow with regards to this one. After deleting/clearing the text styles and placing the file, are you selecting the table within the Layers panel with either the Text or Table tool selected to confirm the styles?

@devendra Have you tried using the on screen Command Controller in your workflow instead? It can be toggled via the Document drop down menu and may be a better way of enabling the modifier.
