  1. Thank you so much for the quick response! That completely clears up my confusion. Even though I installed them, I didn't realize I was using the MSIX vers not the "MSI" or the exe of the installer...I didn’t realize that was the issue. I found the shortcuts under “All” in the Start Menu, just like you said. I’ll did go ahead and uninstall the MSIX versions and download the EXE/MSI versions from the Serif Store to get everything working the way it should. The prompt and helpful advice was/is very much appreciated. Thanks again!
  2. Hello Affinity Team, I’ve encountered a frustrating and puzzling issue with the Affinity Design Suite on both my desktop and laptop, and I hope someone can assist me. Despite successfully installing the software, it seems to be completely hidden—no shortcuts, no Start Menu entries, and no listing in the Control Panel for uninstallation or modification. The Problem: After installing Affinity Designer 2, Affinity Photo 2, and Affinity Publisher 2, I noticed the following issues on both systems: No Start Menu shortcuts: The applications don’t appear in my Start Menu, so I can’t easily click to open them. No desktop shortcuts: I had to manually create shortcuts by navigating to the installation directory. Not listed in Control Panel > Programs and Features: I cannot uninstall or modify the installation via the usual method. Attempts to Resolve: I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the programs, but the issue persists. The installer claims the software is already installed, yet there are no visible shortcuts or entries in the Control Panel to indicate so. This issue is mirrored on both my systems, which suggests it’s not an isolated problem. System Information: Desktop: Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 8-Core RAM: 32 GB OS: Windows 10 x64 Laptop: Model: HP EliteBook 840 G8 RAM: 32 GB Storage: 2 TB with ample free space OS: Windows 10 x64 Screenshots Included: Control Panel - Programs and Features: Demonstrates that the Affinity Suite does not appear in the list of installed programs, even though other software installed later is listed. Reinstallation Attempt: Shows the installer indicating that the software is already installed, despite it being invisible in Control Panel and requiring manual navigation to launch. Request: I would appreciate any assistance to resolve this issue so that the software: Creates proper shortcuts in the Start Menu and on the desktop for easy access. Appears in Control Panel > Programs and Features for uninstall or modification options. If reinstallation is necessary, I’d appreciate detailed instructions to ensure the issue doesn’t persist. This problem is preventing me from using the software to its full potential, and I’m eager to get it resolved. Thank you for your help!
