  1. Here is the image I exported as a PNG @ 5000x5000. I haven't finished tracing the entire image so you will see a blank area. What you do see is what I traced with the pen tool. 2.zip
  2. If people put my images on t-shirts and hoodie's, I'm concerned the antialiasing will show and look terrible.
  3. Sorry about the misqoute. After work this evening I can uploaded the designer file
  4. I asked about an export layer based on what you said on your response: "I'm afraid you'll have to set up a workaround export layer in Photo with sharpening and possibly other adjustments"
  5. Thanks for the reply. Is there a video on how to create an export layer?
  6. Thanks for your reply. Help me understand why a PNG I purchased off of Etsy, from a person who sells images similar to mine, doesn't do this when zoomed in way passed 100%? I know that image was edited in Photoshop.
  7. I'm using the pen tool in Designer Persona "Affinity Designer 2". I trace images with the pen tool and then fill with a vector color. After exporting my PNG and zoom in beyond 100%, the strokes outlining my image elements has a "spiral" look to them. I'm not sure if this is normal or I'm doing something wrong. I've attached below images with this "spiral" look and the export settings
  8. That worked, so thank you!!
  9. After tracing the letter "P" with the pen tool, I end up with two layers. I then select both layers, click on the "Subtract" feature so when I fill in the letter "P" with a color, the middle transparent area of the P doesn't fill in as well. This isn't working the the letter "B" which has two transparent areas that I don't want to fill in with color. After tracing the letter "B" with the pen tool and selecting all three layers, what do I do next so that when I fill in this letter with a color, the two transparent areas do not fill in as well, since selecting "subtract" only keeps on of the transparent areas from filling in with color?
  10. Thanks for responding. At the time I asked this question, I was totally new to Photo 2 and didn't know to either delete or hide the background layer.
  11. After uploading a PNG to Photo 2, removing the background, the image has a white border around the edge. I found a way to remove the white / light border by creating a separate layer and doing edits. But when I merge the edited layer and the background layer and export the white border isn't gone. But when I export only the edited layer, the white border is gone. Below are the exact steps taken with screen shots. 1. Opened PNG in photo 2 2. Document > resize document > Resample checked "Bicubic" @ 300 dpi 3. Flood select tool to remove background > Select > deselect 4. Selection brush tool to select letters > ctrl c ctrl v to make a new layer "letters layer" . Now have two layers "background" and "letters" 5. HIde background layer and unlock background layer 6. Rectangle tool to put a rectangle around the letters in the "letters" layer and made the rectangle layer black 7. dragged the "rectangle" layer underneath the "letters" layer so that I can see the letters > select > deselect 8. highlighted "letters" layer > ctrl > clicked on "letters" layer so now marching ants around the letters 9. Select > grow/shrink > Adjusted radius to -10px > apply 10. Select > invert pixel selection 11. Hid "rectangle" layer > Erase brush tool and erased the white border around text while "letters" layer highlighted 12. Select > deselect 13. activated "rectangle" layer to verify white border gone > white border is gone 14. I exported the transparent PNG with the three layers still in layers panel with the "rectangle" and "background" layers hidden. Exported the "letters" layer and white border is gone 15. Deleted the "rectangle" layer and Merged the "letters" and Background" layers and exported. White border now visible again. So if I only export the edited "layers" layer, the white border is gone but the other elements of the photo don't export. But if I merge the edited "letters" layer with the "background" layer and export, the white borders are back
  12. Thanks for the advice. 😃
  13. When removing backgrounds from images created with the help of ai, the text and other elements are left with a light / white border around them. I've tried the following with Photo 2: 1. Used the flood tool and adjusted the tolerance. This works to a point, but doesn't remove the entire white border. Also tried the "refine" option too. 2. Ive also used the Feather and Shrink Selection and Select Sampled Color. Below is a transparent image placed over a black background so that the white border shows
