  1. I had Publisher when it was in Beta. Consequently its iCloud folder was called Affinity Publisher Beta. At some point, long after the Beta ceased to be relevant, one of my machines ended up with an Affinity Publisher folder and the other with Affinity Publisher Beta still. I tried to merge these and found I couldn't. I followed various suggestions which didn't really work, but at some point seemingly without any further intervention both machines were seeing the same Affinity Publisher folder. Everything was fine for a while. I've just rebuilt my Mac Studio and it's created a new Affinity Publisher folder on iCloud Drive, alongside the original. Now my MacBook can see one of these folders (the correct original one with all my data in), and my Studio can see two folders, both called Affinity Publisher, and both containing a single document I just created on the Studio. If I log into iCloud Drive I can see two folders, but one has the content I can see on the MacBook, and the other has the content I can see on the Studio. Both machines are running up-to-date Sonoma. Any suggestions to fix this? It's really irritating... kind of wish I hadn't used the Beta now!
  2. Thanks for posting here. I just hit the same issue with Publisher 2.3.0 on Mac. Opening large files (all my Publisher files are large files) got stuck and would never actually open the file. This was true for files in iCloud Drive and elsewhere. Disabling the access in System Preferences solved my problem too and now the files open instantly. (Which is weird as now Publisher shouldn't even be able to open files from iCloud.) Annoying bug, hopefully fixed soon, thanks for sharing workaround I'd never have guessed!
  3. After creating a selection (through Selection Brush, Flood Select or a combination), then refining it using the Refine window, frequently (every 20 clicks or so) AP2 loses the selection altogether. This happens most notably with the Matte tool, but seems to happen with Foreground and Background tools too. When using the Matte tool the masking will usually go very blocky; then upon releasing the pointer, instead of taking a second or two to process the matte, AP2 immediately drops the whole selection. Cancelling the Refine process goes back to the pre-Refined selection. This frequently happens many times in a row. This bug has been around for at least a year in AP1 and is still present in AP2.
  4. Frequently at the moment when using the Refine Mask tool, the mask disappears from the screen, and the only way to get it back is to go Apply and then Refine Mask again. However, this (sometimes) loses the changes that have been made in the Refine Mask box. Changing the mask mode doesn't alter this. It happens with the Background, Foreground and Matte tools. You can tell it's about to happen as the screen goes pixellated around where the mask is being painted. This has happened to me on a variety of images on two different machines (M1 and Intel). Curiously, the Intel machine tends to lose data when the mask disappears, whereas the M1 machine didn't. This may be coincidence.
  5. Per the title - to be able to select files in groups and add them to a batch, which would then run an HDR merge and apply a chosen HDR preset, would be a massive timesaver. At the moment, manually processing dozens of groups is a real drag for those of us who shoot bracketed images as a matter of course.
  6. (Reposted as originally I put it in the wrong place) I'm using the current shipping version of Publisher, 1.7.1, on MacOS 10.14.5. I tend to use Publisher full-screen within Spaces. Several times when closing Publisher (Quit from the File menu), Publisher is leaving full-screen windows open in their own Space. Because Publisher is now closed, these orphaned windows can't be interacted with or closed. The only way I've found of getting rid of them is by logging out. I've not experienced this problem in Photo or Designer. David

  8. As the title says. I can search for " ." (full stop after space) but if I type " ," (comma after space) the comma doesn't appear.
  9. To add an unrelated note, this is a phenomenally good piece of software and a hearty congratulations to the team on making such a stable beta.
  10. At the moment inserted objects (such as images) will not snap to the edges of a gutter, only the edges of the parent text box - could this be added? TIA.
  11. As soon as I add a New View, when editing in that view, I get multiple display problems (mostly black boxes in random places on the screen). The problem goes away when I go back to a single View.
  12. Thanks both! I'll have a play around with both of these. I tried the recolour brush but I wasn't being very clever about which colour I was selecting. The other thing that worked reasonably (but not spectacularly) well was selecting by colour (green), then growing and feathering the selection, then using the HSL or Curves tools on the green channel.
  13. Hi all, I have a series of images taken with green screen. Parts of the image (the reflective bits, angled towards the fabric) not surprisingly have a green colour cast. Any recommendations on how best to get rid of this selectively? Every tool I've tried has taken the greens out of the whole image. Thanks!
