    Hi @Matthias,
    Thanks for your report!
I can confirm this is a known issue in v 2.3.1, which has already been resolved in our latest beta version (v 2.4.0.2256), as outlined in our FAQ here -

If you wish to test this beta update for yourself, you can find out how to sign up for our beta program here -
You can find a list of other new features and improvements across Affinity v2.4 here -
Alternatively, if you don't wish to try our beta program at this time, then this fix will be included in the next retail update for Affinity V2.
    I hope this helps

I think the Affinity Suite on iPad is THE predestined candidate for utilizing the external display feature via Stage Manager. In fact that is why I bought an iPad Pro, falsely assuming this just works.
No idea how tricky it is to implement the feature but I think it should have high priority going forward. I for one would love to work in Designer/Photo/Publisher on iPad seeing my designs in all 5k glory.

Very cool, but it would be even cooler if there was an option to add this as an effect or entity to the appearance panel like is done in Illustrator. This approach opens up many options for experimentation.

Today I checked out my new big shiny monitor which I bought to use it for the Affinity suite — only to find Stage Manager is not (yet?) supported. It surprised me to learn this is a feature that has to be explicitly supported by the app.
Well, I hope it is going to work soon. Cause what would be a better use case for a big display than Designer/Photo/Publisher?

Matthias reacted to Ash in 2.1 Beta Build 4 (1730) release notes
We are pleased to make available the next update to the 2.1 beta (2.1.0.1730) This should now be available for you on auto-update.
Below are some of the main changes:
Dashed line / stroke panel improvements
The big new feature here is that you can now choose to set dashed lines to be "balanced", meaning spacing is automatically adjusted so cusps (e.g. corners of a rectangle) look correct. Additionally available dash lined patterns have been extended to 3 dashes and 3 gaps and there is a new "Clear arrow heads" button.
    Running headers
You can now add running headers to your document in Publisher using the new running header field.
    Adjusted mask behaviour
From customer feedback the drop down menu when hitting the mask button in layers panel has been removed, and logic for how the assistant determines if a mask should be added as a new layer or a child altered.
Some file management changes to iPad versions
New option to "Find in files" added to document burger menu iPadOS default Photos browser now used when opening a photo. Redesigned Edit menu on iPad
Taking on board various feedback regarding readability and loss of icons for Isometric options
    Crop tool
Problem with the hit area when dragging a corner has been fixed
    Auto clean in paint mixer
    Setting is now remembered
Special characters view in Designer and Photo
This has now now been added to the iPad versions of Designer and Photo
Additional select options added to iPad shortcuts / quick menu
Select next, previous, top and bottom now available in iPad shortcuts and quick menu
    Brush Panel improvements
You can now optionally decide to turn the new auto scroll / switch category functionality when you change brush tool on or off
    Auto-select
Auto-select is now it's own checkable toggle separate to the drop down options of selecting group or objects. Position of auto select options has moved to be after any context options based on selection Guides
Mouse wheel / arrow keys can now be used to nudge values that have focus in guides manager. Option to lock margin and spread original values added to guides manager dialog. Vector flood tool
Various changes to behind the scenes logic to try to do a better job at combining fills together.  A new scaling option of "None" when tool has a bitmap or gradient fill. Migrate your release version content to beta
A new option has been added to preferences in the desktop versions where you can transfer any content you have in your retail versions over to the beta versions at anytime.

Plus various bug fixes as listed in the fix list thread.

I agree. This whole February I challenged myself to switch to 100% iPad Pro + External Display with Stage Manager. Many apps work without issues on the external display, but the entire Affinity Suite, after selecting what type of project on which one intends to work, all the menus and tools are gone. Move the window to the iPad screen, it’s all there. Move the window back to the external Display, and the menu and tools, buttons, and widgets are all gone.
20 days in, I’d really like to remain on this new iPad Pro workflow if at all possible. It’s a bit much to expect the Affinity team to fix this in the next 8 days, so returning to macOS is inevitable, but it’d be nice to know that it the near future this will be fixed.

The issue "Warp Group exported to PDF results in clipped objects" (REF: AFD-6306) has now been fixed by the developers.
This fix is included in build 2.1.0.1709 (or later) which is already available as a customer beta and will be included in the next release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please make a new thread referencing this one.

I believe Mike's referring to converting the two Warp Group Layer(s) to curves, this will convert them to normal groups but the child layers now take on the warped perspective. You can then re-apply the Blend Mode and Opacity values to the two Group layers and export to PDF, this should then prevent the issue from happening on the final PDF file, I've attached your file below (With History) where i've already done this for reference along with the PDF result.

Hi Matthias, try duplicating the warped text group, hiding one copy for future editing, and then converting the visible copy to curves before exporting. There's a known bug with exporting and printing some warped vectors, especially text. Hopefully this will be fixed in an update soon.
    Cheers

Sorry to get on the nerves of you fine developers. The warp tool is a great addition for working with vector paths in a playful way. But please may I kindly remind you of the vector shape morphing/blending tool that’s once been on the v1 roadmap?
It’s just that it would be so effortless for a lazy guy like me to create dynamic, expressive design with vector shapes.

There are things I would like the various Affinity applications to do, I am not missing anything critical but for people who need bitmap to vector capability in their daily work I would say look elswhere, regardless of any roadmap.
