  1. Hello MEB, iMac (mid-2010), 4GB, ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB, MacOS 10.11.1
  2. Hello MEB, I tried the Dropbox route and thast seems to have worked.
  3. Thanks MEB. Here is one of the .dng files that will not open in Photos Extension Develop. Getting message: _IGP4404 copy.DNGYou aren't permitted to upload this kind of file Help!
  4. Sorry to bang on about this, but two problems from 1.3.5.7 remain in 1.3.5.10. They relate to the Photos.app Extension. 1. Only one Extension Persona can be used on each image as the image resets as you switch from one Extension Persona to another. 2. The Develop Extension does not work with my raw files (.dng). A black or blank (chequerboard) image results. The main app (AP) works fine. Do you have plans to fix these, please?

  6. In the Apple Photo Affinity extension, is it possible to perform more that one type of edit? e.g. if I use the Affinity Retouch module to remove a blemish, save the changes then use the Affinity Monochrome module, the Retouch changes are lost. So it seems that only one of the Affinity modules may be used on each image.
  7. I like the new Apple Photo plugin but when I try to use the Develop part of it on a .dng file I get either a black image or the chequerboard 'blank' background. Stangely, the Develop module seems to work on .jpg files that don't need development! The rest seems to work fine. I also like the new panorama feature: it's passed its first test with flying colours.
  8. Further to the above, I tried the auto-align stack feature again with two images that I took specifically for the purpose. The 'Perspective' alignment worked well. The 'Translate, rotate & scale' setting attempted an alignment but without success. I tried two of the astronomical images again using the 'Perspective' setting but no alignment seemed to be attempted. The ability to align astronomical shots taken with an unguided telescope would be most useful. Could it be the nature of the image (it's the Pleiades) that is the problem?
  9. Tried the auto-align stack setting (scale, rotate & translate) with four astronomical images but it didn't do any alignment at all. Am I missing something? I can align the images by hand, but it is tedious when rotations are needed as well as translations.
