  1. Was the benchmark capability in Affinity Photo removed for the final version? It supposedly was under Help but it's not there anymore. Thanks.
  2. I'm not offended. I'm trying to help my daughter's co-worker who has 82GB of photos and is having issues with her MacBook Pro slowing down. No surprise, especially since she has a mid 2012 13" base model, but I'll upgrade some of her hardware then work on figuring out a better workflow for her. AP with DAM could be what she needs. She's not computer literate but uses the photos as part of a side job she has. iPhoto/Photos has been enough for her needs but it might be time for her to evaluate her future needs. The first DAM I used was Canto Cumulus a real long time ago but I had money at work to buy these overly expensive enterprise level applications. Not any more! I just found Affinity Photo a few weeks ago and bought it so my adult daughter and I could learn it before traveling to Fairbanks Alaska next March for a wedding and to view the aurora borealis.
  3. Just downloaded the current beta and it still doesn't take RAW files, mine from a Canon 60D (.CR2 extension).
  4. I tested the Affinity Photo beta, https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/14016-affinity-photo-customer-beta-1355/, and Opening Stacks is now available. I tested it using RAW files from a Canon 60D and it wouldn't accept them (.CR2 extension) but it accepts jpeg files.
  5. I second @linssen's request. I'd like to keep Photo's asset management capability (not much else out these) but want to add more of Affinity Photo's capabilities than just the retouching extension. I checked the beta site and it doesn't list anything about any extensions. Can anyone discuss the future of Photos extensions from Serif? Thanks
  6. I'm buying TriggerTrap for my DSLR and it talks about using Load Files into Stacks within Photoshop when post-processing star trails, see http://www.triggertrap.com/how-to/capture-a-star-trail. I just bought Affinity Photo and was hoping to use it to process these types of files so I would like to add my name to the list of people wanting this capability. Thanks for your consideration.
